The attempt of bringing new issue of our college NEWS LETTER for I Semester of the academic year 2022-23 made me happy. This news letter provides a panoramic view of the academic, co-curricular activities and achievements of the college.

NBKRIST Team secured Third Place in Best Presentation in Bicycle Design Competition - 2023 organised by SAE India Southern Section. Students received the prize in the final event held at PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul.

Department of Mechanical Engineering, NBKRIST organizing Five weeks In-house Industry internship program on “Design and Fabrication of Four Wheel Drive Electrical All Terrain Vehicle (ATV)” in association with Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers (FAME). The Internship virtually inaugurated today (11.2.2023).

Mr. Ravi Robin, Tech. and Race Director, Mr.Adithya Rao, Executive Officer, Mr.Anil Singh Mehta, Director- Operations and Mr.Aman Kumar, Director - Events from FAME (www.fmae.in) attended the inaugural function through online. Through this internship, students will be trained on both theoretical and practical aspects in design and fabrication of ATVs..

Ashwamedha-23 edition

The vehicle fabricated under SAE Collegiate club of Mechanical Engineering Department, NBKRIST to participate in SAEINDIA E BAJA 2023 competition in association with Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers (FAME).

Department of Mechanical Engineering of NBKRIST Successfully organised MEXODIA 2023 on 25.03.2023. Around 350 students from different colleges participated in the workshops and compitition organised during the symposium. The centre of attraction in today’s program is demonstration on working of Kisan Drone (Agricultural drone).

Huge responses also received for workshops on Industrial Robotics and 3D printing. SAE collegiate club conducted exhibition on various events of SAE and demonstrated various vehicles fabricated under SAE club. Thanks to all student volunteers, faculty and supporting staff for making this event grand success.

Through this internship, students will be trained on both theoretical and practical aspects in design and fabrication of ATVs..

Director Dr. V. Vijaya Kumar Reddy inaugurated the cycle marathon on 21.04.2023. Rally starts from NBKRIST to Gudur old bus stand. DSP Sri Suryanarayana Reddy participated and exhorted on benefits of cycling for health and environment. Also appreciated students from Mechanical Engineering Departs for their active involvement.

“SHARP YOUR BRAIN” (TECHNICAL QUIZ)

Civil Engineering association conducted a technical quiz to encourage students in academics on 11.03.2023.

Civil Engineering department conducted a national lever technical symposium on 17.03.2023. Director Dr. VVK Reddy inaugurated the event and HOD Dr. D. Srinivas let the event successfully.

The department of ECE organized AXION-2K23 ‘A One Day National Level Technical Symposium’ on 10th March 2023. As part of this, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Project – Expo and 4 Spot Events have been conducted.

Guest lecture on “BASIC CONCEPTS OF JAVA”

ECE hosted a seminar on “Basic Concepts of Java” on 29-04-2023. Mr.G.Rajesh, Assistant vice-presi dent from Bank of America, Chennai.

Exemplars Association Events

200 students from diffirent Institutions of Andhra Pradesh participated. Certificates and Cash awards were given to all the winners and participants of different events.

A Webinar on Latest Trends and Innovations in Automotive Domain

ECE conducted Exemplars Association events on 10/05/2023. Many students participated from various colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

This department hosted a webinar on “Latest Trends and Innovations in Automotive Domain ” on 03-04-2023 for III B.Tech students to explore the current trends in Automotive industry.

Association in-charge Mr. G Nagarjuna Reddy and Head of the Department Dr. G. Harinatha Reddy commended the students for their achievements. Prizes were distributed to the students who have shown their excellence.

ECE department organised a Five Day FDP on “Recent trends in Electronics and communication - An approach through AI, ML and DL Techniques” from 22.05.2022 to 26.05.2023.

NBKRIST, Vidyanagar Sponsored by Faculty Development Cell , JNTUA & ISTE – AP Section. Dr. Ramkrishna Sai Gorthi from IIT, Tirupati is the Chief Guest for the event.

A One day National Level Technical symposium (Inspiron –2023) was organized by Department of EEE .

This Programme is to encourage the students to improve their Technical Communication Skills & Personality development.

Demo on solar power plant

EEE Department conducted demo on solar power plant by Sri. K. V. Thulasi Ram. Around 50 students attended the demo and got knowledge on power flow diagram power flow diagram.

NBKRIST MoU with MEIDENSHA CORPORATION

MeidenshaCorporation is a Japanese, Tokyo-based company, engaged in the manufacturing and selling of water treatment equipment, electronic equipment, and information equipment. NBKRIST MoU with SKILL LYNC

Placement News

Skill lync is an online platform providing courses for engineering students. The courses include CFD, Matlab, Python, MBD, aerodynamic simulations, and others. It also provides career programs in Hybrid electric vehicle design, visual product development, internal combustion engine analysis, and program for mechanical engineers. NBKRIST officially had the MoU with skill lync on 6th January 2023.
