MEMORIAL DAY 2015
“Putting the Fight in the Fighting 21st District - Audacity, Audacity, always Audacity!”
COMMANDER’S MESSAGE Memorial day is approaching soon, so thank you for helping me in honoring the sacrifice of our nations fallen heroes and their families, we must always remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Our men and women in uniform, and their families, have sacrificed so much in support to our nations ideals of democracy, freedom, and liberty. Numerous times in the history of our nation, the men and women of our armed Edward “Eddie” Romero forces have been called upon to defend the freedom we hold so dear and have given the ultimate sacrifice. We may never pay full tribute to their sacrifice, but their sacrifice must drive each of us to be better servants of our democracy and pay day-to-day tribute to the meaning behind the stars and stripes of our nations flag On behalf of the 21st District of the American Legion, our hearts and thoughts are with the families and friends of those who’ve given their lives in service to our country. We offer you our unending gratitude and commitment to the American ideals for which you served. I also want to thank you for all your support as I near the end of my term as your 21st district commander, I have had a great time meeting all of you and all the events myself and my wife have attended. So once again thank you very much!
