The playground in Bushy Park is much loved and used by families of the local area and by visitors all across London and beyond. An enclosed space were children of all ages can engage in imaginative and social play with play equipment. As it is well loved- it needs a little bit of regeneration from years of being well used. This means an opportunity to create an engaging, fun, exciting, free to use playground for the local area and all those who live there to enjoy. This proposal is is still in the planning stages.

Retaining wall repaired and path widened

Bark play mulch to be added under equipment for more natural and cohesive look, whilst adding safety

Large logs cut from the surround parkland to create chances for informal seating and play.

More quiet area, planted up for more imaginative play and a quieter space to relax with sensory planting

Alongside the path there could be chances for linear play such as balance beams, stepping stones or suspended walkways so children can play while adults walk along the pathway through the different areas

For more chances of play the paving could have animal tracks printed on them, with animals from the park such as deer and ducks.
