Transform a Required Distribution Into a Meaningful Gift

Your Required Minimum Distribution can be a powerful way to give back. By directing your RMD as a charitable gift, you can support Kantorei’s artistic work and community programs—sharing the joy of choral music today and into the future.

How Giving Through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) Works

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a qualified charitable distribution directly from your IRA to Kantorei.

A QCD can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Because the gift is made directly from your IRA, it may reduce your taxable income.

You can give up to the IRS-allowed annual limit through a QCD.

Instruct them to send the distribution directly to Kantorei (not to you personally).

A Bold New Choral Commission Exploring the Many Dimensions of Love

We are excited to announce a bold new commission Faces of Love. This brand-new multi-movement choral work dives deep into the rich, complex, and transformative nature of love. Generously funded by Kantorei singer Keith Ferguson, with original poetry by Charles Anthony Silvestri, brought to life by five distinguished composers—each contributing a unique movement to the work: Marques L. A. Garrett, Sarah Quartel, Shruthi Rajasekar, Jake Runestad, and Benedict Sheehan.

Kantorei has grand visions for its future and is working on even more ways to share the knowledge and joy of our members in new and exciting ways.
