Chick-fil-A Supply Coming to Kannapolis

It’s our pleasure to welcome Chick-fil-A Supply to Kannapolis. Chick-fil-A Supply – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chickfil-A, Inc. and distribution service provider of the popular chain’s restaurants – has announced its plans to open a new distribution center in Kannapolis. The center will be located in Lakeshore Corporate Park in the Rowan County portion of Kannapolis. This $58.3-million initiative is set to generate 112 new jobs over the next five years, with 85 of those jobs materializing in the first two years. Lakeshore Corporate Park, developed

by Fortius Capital Partners, stands on the property that was once the home to the former Kannapolis Intimidators baseball team. The new Chick-fil-A Supply distribution center will occupy a 126,000-square-foot building, one of three speculative buildings that Fortius has built on the site. “The City of Kannapolis is excited to welcome Chick-fil-A Supply and their staff. With over 100 jobs, salaries above the county average and their substantial investment, the company will be a significant employer in our City and Rowan

County. They have selected a beautiful premier location, overlooking I-85 and Lake Fisher. It reflects the strong corporate presence for which they are known and is expected to make an immediate positive impact in our City,” said Kannapolis Mayor Darrell Hinnant. “We are very pleased that they have selected Kannapolis as their new distribution center locale and thus are helping us continue the revitalization momentum and healthy economic job growth we are experiencing.” The company is set to launch the new facility in the third quarter of 2024. This facility will handle key operations, from warehousing critical restaurant supplies to ensuring timely deliveries and providing operational support encompassing customer service to administrative tasks.
