KFD’s Do the Drill Checklist • Is your grill being used outdoors? • Is it placed well away from the home, the deck railings, out from under eaves and any overhanging branches? • Is it at least three feet from pets and small children? • Have you removed the grease or fat build-up from the grill and its trays? • If it is a propane grill, have you checked the tank hose for leaks before use? • If it is a charcoal grill, do you have lighter fluid and not another flammable liquid? • Are you fit to grill: do you feel fatigued or under the influence of alcohol or medications? • Last, but not least…Do you have everything you need so you do not leave the grill unattended? Do the drill every time you grill to keep you, your home and your family safe this outdoor grilling season!
