探索都市裡的自然教室 長榮大學舉辦巴克禮公園定向活動 許淨 淳 報 導
長榮大學綠色社區根與芽行動計畫(USR)及台南市巴克禮紀念公園永續經營協會共同推動巴克禮紀念公園定向越野活 動，藉此讓更多人認識巴克禮公園的豐富生態，與大自然產生互動連結。 定向越野為一項國際運動，參賽者透過閱讀地圖和指北針的輔助，在最短的時間內，找到數個被標示在地圖上的檢 查點，並且回到終點。除了讓大家學習地圖的判讀之外，活動亦特地在檢查點上設置題目，讓民眾觀察並了解巴克 禮公園的人文歷史、地理環境及自然生態，讓環境教育深化於活動中。 長榮大學校長暨巴克禮紀念公園永續經營協會理事長李泳龍表示，為了讓更多人認識巴克禮公園的生態環境，透過 USR計畫舉辦各項活動，以善盡大學的社會責任。為了推廣巴克禮定向活動，本校於4月份即開始培訓課程及實作演 練，並開始接受團體體驗巴克禮定向活動，目前總共辦理6場次，共122人參與。未來本校將持續辦理巴克禮定向越 野活動，寓教於樂地讓大家輕鬆體驗自然，並使巴克禮公園成為都市裡最佳的自然教室。 參與活動的荒野保護協會親子團家長們表示，藉由類似尋寶遊戲的方式帶入知識元素是很棒的學習，如透過撿拾葉 子來觀察形狀，學習分辨不同植物的差別，同時也提高對於大自然的覺知及敏感度，體驗自然環境美好的同時更加 愛護環境。每次活動後，特別安排延伸討論及題目解說，更深入地達到環境教育的目的。
賀 ！長 榮大 學 學 生 實踐社會責任 榮 獲教 育部 肯 定 為 USR扛壩子 長榮 大 學 社 工系 報 導 教育部大學社會責任推動中心有感於學生投入USR計畫，在大學推動社會責任歷程中扮演不可或缺的重要角色，特別於 109年度辦理「扛壩子X的獻聲聲〡The Core Character of X」活動，並依照學生參與計劃的時間與投入程度，分成三 個子題，包括剛接觸USR之學生為「萌芽的螺絲」、執行USR計畫一年以上的「轉動齒輪」，以及執行USR計畫兩年以 上、甚至為計劃扶植人才的「關鍵鑰匙」。 長榮大學USR計畫共有五人獲獎，參加「惡地護老在龍崎—青銀共好Age Long」計畫的社工四毛韋翔及護理一林珈薇分 別在「關鍵鑰匙」與「萌芽的螺絲」兩項子題獲最佳鼓舞獎，另外由環境教育國際實驗學院主責的「綠色社區根與芽 行動計畫-從在地到國際」亦有三名同學獲獎，其中更有來自坦尚尼亞的Barnaba同學獲選為【2020線上常設展扛壩 子】活動轉動齒輪組代表，並將於八月份獲得專題人物報導。 Barnaba表示以學生身分直接與社區合作非常重要，在USR計劃中學習到許多議題，帶給他巨大的影響，因為他來自共 同生活方式的地區，所以希望能與社區保持聯繫，與學校周圍的當地社區發展經濟及環境教育。他將繼續攜手共造 USR，為長榮大學與社區共好而努力。 長榮大學社工系鄭佩芬主任肯定學生們是USR計畫的扛壩子、是支持社會責任實踐的要角，學生們透過在計畫場域做中 學過程發想並反思，進而將參與經驗持續傳承，投入在地關懷社區、關心公共議題。

Buhombe, and I was born and raised in Tanzania on 20 April, 1995, our family, made up of my mother, father, brothers, and sisters, I realized that traveling and exchanging culture was one among of the important thing in life where by that is where you can create a huge family and having connections with different societies in different geographical areas in the world. 我是Barnaba A. Buhombe，我出生於1995年4月20日，在坦尚尼亞長大。家庭組成有父母親與弟弟妹妹。我認為旅行和 文化交流是人生中重要的事情之一，因為可以與世界上不同地理位置，不同社會的人組成大家庭和建立聯繫。 At the beginning of my studies in Taiwan, I was wishing myself to be engaged any social activities which will at least basically help me to broaden my social understanding ability, as I was born in a village where by communalism is the way of life meaning that I was born and raised in a communal way of life. 剛來到台灣學習時，我希望能參與任何至少能幫助我提升社會理解能力的社交活動。因為我出生在一個社區主義的村 莊，我是以共同生活的方式出生和成長。
So when in Taiwan starting thinking on the best way which will help to get connected in any social program, After all these luckily at the time when I started looking for any place which be convenient for me to volunteer, my Administrator department officer advised me to find the USR office and suddenly found it and luckily accepted. And suddenly this was when I started getting involved into the University Social Responsibility program, I remember at the beginning I had numerous questions asking about the program as it was my first time to join, so obviously I had to understand almost everything which was directly related to be in the program. Thereafter I found what I have been wishing to have in my college life in Taiwan, I thank all people who made me get involved in the program as they made me feel blessed to be connected in the best program which helps university students to be involved in social activities during their studies. 因此在台灣時，我開始思考可以連結任何社交活動的最佳方式。幸運的，當我開始在尋找適合 我做志工的地方時，我的主任建議我去找USR辦公室，後來找到了也很幸運被接受了。我就這麼 參與了“大學社會責任＂計劃，我記得剛開始時我有很多關於該計劃的問題,因為這是我第一次 參加，所以我必須了解所有與其相關的內容。此後，發現我找到了對於台灣大學生活中所期許 的東西。我感謝所有讓我參與該計劃的人，因為他們讓我感到很榮幸能加入這個可以幫助大學 生在學習期間參與社會活動的最佳計畫。
As a student pursuing my bachelor's degree in International Program for Sustainable Development at Chang Jung Christian University,I have been participating in different activities organized by the USR and school. Through participating and getting engaged in numerous activities, it has helped me to understand how responsible I was supposed to be, to the society. Therefore after understanding my responsibility I have been to play my roles like sharing my creativity and all that I’m supposed to share with the community as a student, it has been so wonderful for me to share and utilize my knowledge and skills to the society, basing on the aim and meaning of sustainability, as a student I have been responsible to follow and abide all sustainability ethics like sustainable use of all resources in our surroundings, as a student I have to abide instructions for my supervisors. 身為一個長榮大學永續發展學程的學生，我參與了學校和USR所舉辦的各種活動。透過參與眾多的活動，我了解到了我 對社會的責任感。因此在理解我的責任後，扮演好自己的角色，例如分享我的創造力以及一些我身為學生應該向社區 分享的東西。對我而言，將我在可持續性的目標和意義上的知識與技能分享給社區，是件多麼美好的事情。身為學生， 我有責任遵循所有可持續性的規範，例如可持續利用周圍環境中的所有資源；身為學生，我必須遵守督導的指示。 University social responsibility program (USR) has become a story into my life since at the time when I knew about USR I begun getting closer into numerous opportunities that every young people like me should have. USR has been building me and helping to grow positively when it comes to social activities and sustainable ways of living. USR has been teaching me several ways of working with the community as a young person by using numerous ways of learning and delivering out what I have learned. I remember at the time when I joined the USR program it was a day that I won’t forget easily. My first time in USR program as a student, I begun with attending the activity which involved community members of Datan, Shalun, and Wudong villages (DaWuLun), These activities were organized by USR of Chang Jung Christian University whereby we had to visit other community in North Tainan, I remember that activity gave me a way of understanding on how USR work as we visited different communities and schools, during this trip I saw how USR is managing environmental education widely and sustainably into different communities by involving young students from universities something which wonderful for me. 自從我加入USR以後，大學社會責任計畫（USR）就成為我生活中的一部分，我開始獲得 越來越多像我這樣的年輕人所應該擁有的機會。USR計畫在社交活動與可持續生活方式 方面,不斷的培養並幫助我積極成長。
USR透過多種學習和傳播所學知識的方法，教會
如我般的年輕人如何與社區合作。我不會輕易忘記我加入USR計畫的那一天。我參與USR 第一個活動的社區成員包括了大潭，沙崙和武東的農民（大武崙），這些活動是由長榮 大學的USR團隊所舉辦的，我們也探訪了在台南北部其他社區。當我們訪問不同社區和 學校時，我了解到了各種USR的執行方式。在這次旅行中，我看到了USR如何廣泛和可持 續地管理環境教育，並讓大學生參與到社區中，這對我來說真的很棒。 As we are in the era of globalization, USR has considered the issues of globalization by engaging school and urban and rural development, multi-ethnic groups, cultural heritage, and other fields. Through engaging schools as a student I got a chance of understanding my role as a student when it comes to the issues of globalization and I really appreciate all creativities that have been getting managed by USR. 正如我們處在全球化時代一樣，USR通過參與學校和城鄉發展，多元文化族群，文化遺產和其他領域來與世界同步。透 過參與學校的USR，我有機會了解在全球化課題上作為一名學生的角色，我真的很感謝USR處理的所有創造力。
As I know that USR program has targeted to improve college students understanding of public issues drives the caring and enthusiasm students for the humanities, social and economic environment in which we are located and provide a professional training field for learning; in the practice of "doing middle school" in the planning field, which actually stimulating students' creativity and professional enthusiasm, also cultivating students' ability to solve problems, As a student I can honestly say that USR program has been more than what I expected into my learning life. Previously I was even scared on what I will going to do in my community after graduating, but USR program activities have taught me a lot which is positively useful to anyone need to work with the communities sustainably, and in general USR program has helped me to understand my responsibility as a global citizen and young man who can work with any society around the world by considering the sustainable way of living. 據我所知，USR計畫旨在提高大學生對公共課題的理解，激發學生對在地的人文、社會 和經濟環境的關心和熱情，並提供專業的學習領域；規劃領域中的“做中學 ＂實踐激 發了學生的創造力和專業熱情，也培養學生解決問題的能力。身為學生，我可以誠實 地說，USR計畫超出我原先所預期的學習生活。以前，我對畢業後要為自己的社區做什 麼貢獻而感到害怕，但是USR計畫的活動教會了我很多東西。這對任何需要與社區可持 續發展合作的人都是非常有益的。總而言之，USR計劃幫助年輕人成為地球公民，了解 如何以永續的生活方式來與全球任何社區合作。 At the moment when I came to study in Taiwan, I found this USR program and I had to ask different questions related to this program and saw how interesting it was, then after that, I joined this program and into this program, I have learned different issues especially I remember one thing was helping young farmers and local farmers to stay in farming because it was found that farmers were about to quit farming due to some challenges of what they have been facing in their farming life like lack of market, but through USR we managed to help farmers by joining their farming helping them to sell their products through USR by connecting them to market and the program was successful and I remember two farmers are still farming due to the help from USR program. I have also joined into different workshops and seminars organized by USR like solar system installation by considering the use of green energy, I have contributed my ideas and creativities in designing and building recycle station in the community around my school. Then as we consider conservation of other living organism I have attended different training about birds conservation especially Jacana which was mostly the case study. 我剛來到台灣唸書時，我認識到了USR計劃，並提出了許多的問題以更加了解這個計劃。後來我加入到了USR，也認識 到了各種的議題,最為記得的是幫助年輕的農民和當地農民繼續耕作。我們發現到農民在務農生活面臨到一些挑戰，像 是缺乏市場，而想要放棄務農。透過USR，我們與農民一起務農並將農民與市場建立聯繫、銷售農產品。最終該計畫取 得成功，我印象中有兩位農民在USR計畫的幫助下仍在務農。我還參加了由USR舉辦的各種工作坊和研討會，例如考慮 到綠色能源使用的太陽能安裝系統。我在學校周圍社區回收站的設計與建設發揮了自己的想法和創意。在保護其他生 物方面，我參加了各種有關鳥類保護的培訓，尤其水雉是我們最常研究的對象 Another event was Trash to the treasure which was just last month and it was designing anything which was Trash into treasure, Like designing pallets which were abandoned into the farm into the vertical garden now we're dealing on it and soon we're going to build another vertical garden from abandoned pallets. 另一個活動是上個月剛進行的“垃圾化為珍寶＂，也就是廢棄物再利用。我們將被丟棄的木棧架改造成一個垂直花 圃。我們現在正努力中，不久後我們將利用廢棄的木棧架再打造另一個垂直花圃。
And another thing which I have learning in USR program is working directly with the communities as a student because this is something which was very important for a student like me because as I was born from a communal way of living of life so for me I expected to still be connected to the community especially when it comes to issues of economic development and sustainable development by engaging community members especially local communities around our school, I also attended USR EXPO in Kaohsiung and learn a lot through exhibition. 我在USR計畫中學習到的另一件事就是以學生身份直接與社區合作，這對像我一樣出生於共同生活方式的學生來說非常 重要。對我而言，我期望能與社區連結，特別是學校周圍的社區居民，尤其在經濟發展和可持續發展的議題上進行互 動。我還參加了在高雄舉行的大學社會實踐博覽會（USR EXPO），並通過展覽會學到了很多東西。

As in general as USR member we have been doing a lot through working with the community as a student I have been learning a lot and I see I'm growing better especially when it comes to the issue of the community development. And finally I am proud of getting connected to this program as international student and I will stay working with this program wherever and forever, I love the USR program, I love Chang Jung Christian University and I love Taiwan let's keep working together with USR program for the betterment of the future generations, thank you very much. 總而言之，我們身為學生、身為USR的其中一員，與社區合作方面付出了很多心力。我學到了很多東西，也看到自己的 成長，尤其是關於社區發展的課題。最後，我為國際學生能參與該計畫而感到自豪。無論何時何地，我都將會繼續與 USR合作。我愛USR計畫，我愛長榮大學，我愛台灣，讓我們繼續與USR計畫一起為了有美好的下一代進步。

二 仁 溪季 節 限 定 版大自然四季顏色 黃 澄 澄的 檨 仔 花 廖小 萱 / 報 導 檨仔花 （詞／才士會/黃魏慶／阿慶） 南風吹 檨仔開花搶頭回 花香氣 對透早到暗眠 滿山遍野攏是開春的氣味 風若滔 檨仔到 檨仔花 滿樹椳 檨仔青 歸四界 戀愛的酸甘甜 攏藏底那裡底 有外濟的相思 就開外濟的花蕊 點點滴滴 結成檨仔青的滋味 戀愛的鹹淡 檨仔青尚知影 酸拉拉的口味 甘無乎你想到初戀彼當時 啊～ 檨仔花啊 檨仔花 你是情人花 相思的花開有夠濟 親像是情人花花花 春回大地 檨仔開花 檨仔開花 春回大地 芒果產於印度，栽培至少已四千年，於1561年由荷蘭人引進台灣，是台灣種植芒果的開始。芒果樹壽命極長可達數百 年，芒果―「色、香、味」撩人食慾，其香氣在眾水果中最為奇特，目前本省栽培品種「土芒果」，及美國種愛文、 海頓、凱特，外來品種以愛文品種最受喜愛，栽植數量也最多。這要感謝「愛文芒果之父」的鄭罕池，世居玉井，歷 經3年栽培成功，於民國54年將種愛文技術傳授給有需要的農民，漸漸地，種植愛文芒果面積增加了，奠定玉井為「芒 果故鄉」基石。 民國69年高雄縣六龜鄉黃金煌先生育成「金煌一號」品種，果實碩大肉嫩甜美，頗受好評。每年6月~7月為芒果盛產 期，是夏季主力水果之一。 芒果在原產地印度，宗教上有其特殊意義被視為聖果。除此之外，印度人也用芒果來供奉最崇拜的愛神卡摩欲納，因 為印度人認為芒果花的淡白色五瓣代表愛神所用的五蔟箭，花柄則為箭杆；也傳說芒果會帶給戀人幸福，所以在每年 春夏芒果花開時，成雙成對的印度情人們都會到芒果樹下談情說愛，也為芒果贏得了「愛情之果」的美名。 而我們台灣芒果樹性強健，常栽植在鄉道間或縱貫公路作為行道樹，綿延成了綠色隧道，夏天時道路兩旁土芒果結實 纍纍，頗為壯觀。 記得小時候因物資缺乏，每逢清明節前後，大人小孩就拿著長棍在樹下敲芒果，做成酸酸甜甜又冰涼的情人果，放在 冰箱冷凍著是夏天最棒的消暑零嘴，每次都忍不住嘴饞沒幾天就吃完了。 等到端午節時芒果更成熟結實累累，再搬長棍來敲檨仔，最期待一陣風吹落芒果，就可撿拾品嘗，有句俗語「風吹芒 果劈啪飛，風透芒果劈啪落」來形容。 如今部分鄉鎮會封路開放全民一起敲檨仔，這真是個優值又有趣味的親子活動呀！
