Prior to registering online, you must set up a household account. Visit kvpd.com, click "Register Online" and click "Log In/Create Account". Once your account is created, you may search the online catalogue for programming and events. Click the program you want to register for and follow the directions. All online registrations require payment at the time of registering.
Call us at (815) 939-1311 to register over the phone. All phone registrations require payment at the time of registering.
You may register in person at the Bird Park Administrative Office, KVPD Rec Center or Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena during business hours.
We accept cash, check and credit cards. All phone and online registrations require a credit card. All credit cards are subject to a convenience fee with a minimum charge amount of $1.00.
Please note all registration deadlines in this guide. Registrations will not be accepted past the class deadline.

Stay connected and learn a new language from the safety and comfort of your own home via the interactive Zoom platform! Bump, set, spike! Gather your friends and join us for our Fall Coed Volleyball League! Competitive and Recreational Co-Ed Volleyball leagues available starting in November. Five weeks of regular season play followed by a single elimination tournament. Teams will play two games per night.
Games will be played at the KVPD Rec Center, located at 150 N Indiana Ave in Kankakee *No games November 22 and 23

Fall Open Gym Pickleball hours return this fall to the KVPD Rec Center! This fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, all wrapped up in one fun game!
FThis program introduces the beginner adult skater to the basics of skating at Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena As skaters advance, new and exciting skills such as jumps, spins, footwork and artistic elements will be introduced This class also promotes physical fitness and improves balance and coordination while learning proper skating techniques Divided into six levels, adult skaters will progress at an individual rate while being challenged and motivated
For ages 13+. All weekly classes are 45 minutes of instructional time and skate rental is included. A Learn to Skate USA Membership is required * Please note: this class is only a 6 week session No classes November 25
