TOASTMASTERS SPEECHCRAFT

The Speechcraft is conducted by our very own immediate past president, DTM DrJayalath Edirisinghe It's organized for the academic staff of the Department Of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya.

The Speechcraft program allows experienced Toastmasters to present the fundamentals of public speaking to non-members

It's empowering to witness the enthusiasm of the participants, well educated professionals, in improving public speaking and leadership skills They elevate the educational experience of the program through delivering of speeches.

The speechcraft is scheduled to complete in ten sessions spread throughout a timeline of three months. Half of the sessions will be conducted online, the rest will be expanded to facilitate in-person meetings

Considering the calibre of the registered participants, the educational experience was enhanced by inviting a world renowned speaker to the stage, Toastmaster Dilan Joseph, semi finalist of the world championship in public speaking.

Toastmasters of varying expertise, from novice to expert participated to make these ongoing sessions a great success It was a refreshing experience to have toastmasters from different divisions and areas
