The Lansdowne Transit Exchange is located at the intersection of Lansdowne Street and 6th Avenue. Five bus routes loop through the downtown core (routes 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9), while five others pass through and loop on main streets (routes 1, 2, 3, 16, and 17).

By car

Following Tranquille Road, you can drive from the Kamloops Airport to our beautiful Downtown core in under 20 min.

From the City of Vancouver, Highway 5 leads you into Kamloops. The drive is about 350km. From the west, the easiest way to reach the Downtown core is to use exit #369 and follow Columbia Street.

With parks, scenic trails, spacious sidewalks and roadways, you’ll find our downtown core is perfect for walking, running & cycling!

Two of the main shared-lanes through Downtown Kamloops stretch from 1st and St. Paul Street to 8th Avenue, and from 8th and Nicola Street to 13th Avenue. Please remember no bikes or boards on the sidewalks!
