Tuition Aid FAQs
At High Point Academy, we are committed to providing financial assistance to families who require additional tuition support after they have incorporated all other resources into their planning for educational costs. All grants are based on need, as demonstrated by the financial aid application, tax and other financial information.
How do I apply for Financial Assistance? To get started, go to https://app.clarityapp.com/sign-up/ to create your account Provide your name and email, and create a password. The application fee is $65. If you need help at any time, Clarity can provide support through email at support@clarityapp.com or phone
206.210.3752
What tax forms are required? Clarity will directly pull your tax information through the IRS to verify your application. You will need to sign and submit a tax verification form to provide Clarity permission The consent form allows Clarity to pull your household's previous year tax information safely and securely into the application from the IRS including your Federal taxes, W2s, and Business taxes. For example, applying for the 2627 academic year, the taxes pulled will be for calendar year 2024 Additionally, High Point requires the most recent year ending W2 and/or 1099 forms as well as the last 3 paystubs.
What is the likelihood of receiving financial assistance? Completing a tuition aid application is the only way to learn if your family qualifies for assistance. There are several factors used to determine need-based aid including income, family size, liquid and fixed assets, and expenditures made by choice or necessity.
How Are Decisions Made? High Point evaluates all data received through the Clarity standardized system for analyzing need. The Financial Assistance Committee reviews the
data supplied by the family and makes grants according to the School’s financial aid policy and available funds.
Will my financial assistance continue in subsequent years? To maintain the integrity of the tuition aid process and to meet standards of federal and state tax codes, the family must reapply each year. Families requesting financial aid grants must keep their account current to qualify.
How is my financial information safeguarded? Information on the Clarity website including the application and tax documents are encrypted. High Point does not accept tax documents directly. The Financial Assistance Committee maintains a policy of strict confidentiality concerning all grants.
