Manufacturers in India. This is a type of Electro Fusion Fittings. Pipes of various materials are inserted, and joints are connected using some electrical hitting methods. Electrofusion of HDPE uses electrofusion fittings which have small copper wires embedded within the inside of the fitting. Current is then run through those wires using an electrofusion processor creating heat, and successively, melting the HDPE on the within of the fitting and therefore the outside of the pipe creating a uniform bond and leak-free joint. ElectroFusion Saddle’s pressure reading is about PN 16 and the diameter varies between 90mm to 200mm. The outlet size is ½", ¾" and 1". This utilizes higher Amperage (105A) to make more heat, allowing the pipe to expand to assist reduce any gaps between pipe and coupler. Higher amperage allows for larger gaps to start out the fusion process and results in deeper melt penetration. Wider fusion zones are used to increase surface melt. Wider cold zones allowing more flexibility in pipe stab depth. Fittings are created with traceability bar codes. The cooling time listed on the coupler indicates when the fitting joint are often fully pressure tested, eliminating the necessity for guesswork.
