Last year, the Indian traditional clothing industry saw the re-emergence of classic suits on a larger scale. What gave it a further boost was Bollywood's preference for it over the all-time sexy Indian apparel, saree. From award functions to weddings of their co-stars, the gorgeous actresses made it a point to nail down the ultimate fashionista look with floor-length anarkali suits.

The 'Dirty Picture' actress is just not appreciated for her power-packed performances, but is known to have an exceptional love for traditional outfits. Balan's love for anarkali dresses is pretty obvious with these being her preference for most of her promotional events, award shows and other filmy functions.

The lady took these stunning suits at the global level and dazzled in a red and black at Cannes 2013. In another Cannes appearance in the same year, she won the hearts of many fashion gurus with her jacketed black and brown designer version of the suit. What speaks more than this for Balan's love for this particular Indian outfit!
