¡ Licencias para todo Idahoans! La comunidad inmigrante son parte integral para Idaho. No solo contribuyen inmensamente a la economía del estado pero también como padres, madres, hijos e hijas,abuelos, abuelas y miembros de la comunidad que por muchos años y al igual las nuevas generaciones han aportado valores y cultura a este estado que consideran su hogar. Por eso nos unimos para que el estado reconozca la necesidad de proveer licencias de conducir para la comunidad indocumentada. Una licencia de conducir es esencial para participar en la economía local y llevar a cabo las actividades diarias-como conducir a la escuela, el trabajo o la iglesia. La comunidad indocumentada debe de tener el mismo proceso al obtener licencias como todo los demás. Merecemos la oportunidad de que se registren, manejen asegurados, y mantener familias juntas y seguros en las carreteras. Al implementar tal leyes exigimos que se proteja la identidad, e información que se provea para la seguridad de la comunidad indocumentada. La justicia y la seguridad en las carreteras de Idaho son fundamentales para construir un mejor estado. Esta petición demuestra mi apoyo a esta medida. La legislatura debería modificar la ley de licencias de conducir en Idaho.

The immigrant community is an integral part of Idaho. They have not only contributed immensely to the state’s economy but also as fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, grandparents, grandmothers, and community members who for many years and as well as new generations have brought values and culture to this state that they call home. That is why we come together for the state to recognize the need to provide driver’s licenses for the undocumented community. A driver’s license is essential to participate in the local economy and carry out daily activities — like driving to school, work, or church. The undocumented community should have the same process when obtaining licenses as everyone else. They deserve the opportunity to register, drive insured, and keep families together and safe on the roads. In implementing such laws we require that thier identity and information provided be protected for the safety of the undocumented community. Fairness and safety on Idaho’s roads are critical to building a better state. This petition shows my support for this measure. The legislature should amend the Idaho driver license law.
