ALACANANG — The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) has thrown its support behind a bill filed by Sen. Mark Villar, giving mandatory insurance coverage and benefits to the members of the press.

In a letter to Villar, PTFoMS Executive Director Usec. Paul M. Gutierrez, said that SB 2335 is

“timely and necessary.”

He noted however that Villar’s proposal, filed last July 20, 2023, appears left out in the many bills on media welfare at the Senate that are now being consolidated by the Senate Committee on Labor and Employment for possible passage by the Chamber by this year.

DPWH to truckers: Follow Sn Juanico Bridge load limit TACLOBAN City – THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office here has asked truckers to comply with the anti-overloading law following a recent incident where a truck broke its axle while passing the San Juanico Bridge.

DPWH Eastern Visayas regional director Edgar Tabacon on Monday sought the cooperation of truckers and hauling service providers to adhere to their respective prescribed gross vehicle weight (GVW) and axle load limits.

Caraga mining firm propagates bamboo trees in support of disaster resilience programs BUTUAN CITY – In support of the government’s National Greening Program (NGP), the Philsaga Mining Corporation and Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation, covering the municipalities of Rosario and Bunawan in the province of Agusan del Sur, intensified its efforts in propagating their bamboo tree plantations, which are expected to benefit more Caraganons, and form part of the local government units’ disaster resilience programs.

To date, the said mining company in Agusan del Sur has already planted about 1,370,074 tree species since 1997, including giant bamboo trees and fruit trees within, the 2,316.53 hectares of plantation in the aforementioned municipalities and neighboring areas.

The Indigenous Peoples (IP) community in the two towns of Agusan del Sur have directly benefited from Philsaga’s environmental protection initiatives and provision of livelihood to the localities.

Bae Elvera Catuburan, an IP from Rosario, Agusan del Sur, acknowledged the effort of Philsaga in restoring the bountiful mountains of the province by helping the IP community plant different species of fruit trees and bamboos.

“They have been providing the IP community

with seedlings that we can propagate on our farmland.

We are thankful for their continued support and assistance to our community,” said Catuburan.

Datu Banikop Rafael Dique, tribal chieftain of Barangay San Marcos, Rosario, Agusan del Sur, also expressed his gratitude to the government agencies involved in the implementation of the National Greening Program, together with Philsaga in the province, for their great concern for the environment and for constantly extending help to the IP community.

“The bamboo propagation has greatly helped us in preventing soil erosion at the Simulao River in Agusan del Sur, and we are benefiting from the fruit trees as well that are being planted in the area,” shared Dique.

Atty. Raul Villanueva, president of Philsaga, revealed that the mining firm has three operational nurseries. “We have the agroforest nursery (main nursery) with a one-hectare-area covered with 200,000 seedlings; Satellite nursery at the mine site in an 800-square meter area covered with 75,000 seedling capacity; and Mangrove nursery in Barobo in a 1,000-square-meter area covered with 5,000 seedling capacity,” he said.

agules along the fish-rich coastal town of Barobo in Surigao del Sur. Bamboo planting initiatives The giant bamboo, which is known for its remarkable carbon dioxide absorption and soil erosion prevention properties, has become a focal point of PMC’s reforestation endeavors.

Mine site: PMC has made a significant impact on the communities by planting 11,750 giant bamboo trees, covering 11.5 hectares of land at its mine site.

Mill site: Expanding its

sustainability efforts beyond its mining areas, PMC has planted 5,365 giant bamboo trees, spanning 7.35 hectares at its mill site.

Agroforest nursery: The PMC was able to put in place the additional 900 bamboo seedlings that are available at the agroforest nursery.

This outreach invites localities and like-minded organizations to join PMC in its ongoing environmental initiatives.

Government’s National Greening Program The National Greening Program (NGP) is the country’s most ambitious reforestation program to date.

It seeks to plant 1.5 billion trees on 1.5 million hectares for a period of six (6) years, from 2011 to 2016.

Executive Order No. 26, signed on February 24, 2011

by President Benigno S. Aquino III, serves as the legal basis for the implementation of the NGP. Executive Order 193, s. 2015 expands its coverage from 2016 to 2028.

BCPO Station 2 feeding program benefits 20 day care learners BAGUIO CITY (PIA) -Learners at the Happy Homes Child Development Center were a picture of joy and delight as they received packed lunch from the Baguio City Police Office (BSPO) Station 2 on Monday, November 12, 2023.

At least 20 learners from said center benefitted in the

feeding program sponsored by the BCPO Station 2 in partnership with the Local Council for the Protection of Children.

Police Corporal Janice Liquit of BCPO Station 2 said they spearheaded the feeding activity to highlight the importance of good nutrition for the children.

According to Liquit, this is also another way of dispelling the unfavorable perception of police among kids.

Flora Jyacinth Nantiatu finds such activity beneficial for parents like her particularly in ensuring their children’s nutrition.

Cayetano: WPS strategy must be tied to economic development FOR Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, the country’s strategy on the West Philippine Sea (WPS) must be tied to economic development, saying this is the edge of China and even smaller countries like Vietnam.

“Ang akin lang advice sa Pilipinas, any strategy in the West Philippine Sea has to have a strategy of economic development,” the senator told reporters in a recent media interview.

“Kung hindi, parati na lang tayo y’ung mahirap na kapitbahay, parati tayong nasa gilid,” he added.

Cayetano said China was able to mature its policies and its military because of its economic development, which had pushed it to become a global superpower over the last decades.

He likened the Philippines to small communities at the edges of more prosperous areas like Ayala-Alabang, Ayala Avenue, and Bonifacio Global City. This, he said, makes it difficult for the country to make its

voice heard and assert its position when it comes to the West Philippine Sea. “We have to find a sustainable strategy and framework in dealing with the West Philippine Sea with all of our neighbors. In the same manner na nakahanap tayo ng paraan to deal with Malaysia and Vietnam, we have to find a way to deal with China,” he said.

“Having said that, it’s easier said than done kasi depende din doon sa aksyon n’ung kabila… Kasi malaking bagay nito ay y’ung diplomacy at geopolitics,” he added.

Tension at the WPS heightened on Friday, November 10, when dozens of Chinese coast guard and other ships chased encircled Philippine vessels in the Ayungin Shoal and even blasted a water cannon toward a motorboat that was delivering food and other supplies to the BRP Sierra Madre.

Cayetano said things could “get worse” when

it comes to the West Philippine Sea because of the tense relationship between China and the United States.

“Lumalalim ang geopolitics around the world. Y’ung (actions) ng America, apektado tayo kasi kapitbahay natin ang China… Sa China, you have to understand it’s also (their) national security ang tinitingnan nila dyan sa West Philippine Sea,” he said.

He said the Philippines can take the example of Vietnam, particularly on how it has been developing its economy over the past years.

“If you look at Vietnam, that’s what they are doing.

And where are they starting? Babalik tayo sa education,” he said.

“Vietnam is coming up with one of the best education systems in the world.

So we have to act on the (education) crisis (in our country),” Cayetano, who has been batting for the improvement of the country’s education system, said.| –

A total of 400 police recruits comprised of 286 male and 114 female swore their oath, November 13, after more than 2 months of recruitment process. The selection procedure for these individuals has been rigorous and comprehensive, reflecting the Police Regional Office CALABARZON’s commitment to ensuring that its members are of the highest caliber.

Through the PRO4A Recruitment and Selection Service, the police recruits undergone a meticulous selection process that assessed each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and aptitude for the demanding responsibilities of a police officer.

The recruitment process comprised of several stages, including Application and Screening where the prospective candidates submitted their applications, which underwent thorough scrutiny to ensure compliance with the set of criteria; Written Examination in which they faced a comprehensive written examination to assess their knowledge in various areas such as law, ethics, and critical thinking; Physical Fitness Test where they underwent a series of physical fitness assessments to evaluate their stamina and overall physical preparedness; Background Investigation to ensure their integrity and reliability of each candidate; Medical and Psychological Evaluation: where candidates underwent thorough medical examinations to ascertain their physical health, and psychological evaluations were conducted to assess their mental and emotional fitness for the demanding role of a police officer; and Panel Interviews where successful candidates from the previous stages participated in panel interviews, where

The Oath Taking and Turnover Ceremony served as symbolic moment where the recruits pledge their commitment to uphold the law, protect the community, and serve with integrity.

In the message of the Regional Director, PBGen Paul Kenneth T. Lucas represented by the Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PCol Roel C. Rodolfo welcomed the newest members of Team CALABARZON and reminded them on the significance of responsibility, accountability, and resilience.

“As you take your oath today, remember that you are not just joining a force; you are becoming a beacon of hope, a symbol of justice, and a guardian of peace.

May your journey be filled with purpose, your actions be guided by responsibility and accountability, and your spirit be resilient in the face of challenges,” the Regional Director in his message.

Meanwhile, PCol Rodolfo expressed his gratitude to the civilian members of the screening committee represented by Dr. Carina S Cruz of the Department of Interior and Local Government 4A, and Atty Glocyphine A. Chavez-España of the National Police Commission 4A and Dr. Freddie B Bulauan of the Commission on Higher Education 4A. Gaza: Patients and medical staff trapped in hospitals under fire GAZA - OVER the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza have been under relentless bombardment.

Al-Shifa hospital complex, the biggest health facility where Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff are still working, has been hit several times, including the maternity and outpatient departments, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.

The hostilities around the hospital have not stopped. Doctors Without Borders teams and hundreds of patients are still inside Al-Shifa hospital. Doctors Without Borders urgently reiterates its calls to stop the attacks against hospitals, for an immediate ceasefire and for the protection of medical facilities, medical staff and patients.

“We are being killed here, please do something,” texted one of Doctors Without Borders nurse from Al-Shifa hospital basement this morning, where he and his family were sheltering from the incessant bombing. “Four or five families are sheltering now in the basement, the shelling is so close, my kids are crying and screaming in fear.”

“The situation in al-Shifa is truly catastrophic. We call on the Israeli Government to cease this unrelenting assault on Gaza’s health

system. Our staff and patients are inside Al-Shifa hospital where the heavy bombing has not stopped since yesterday”, says Ann Taylor, Doctors Without Borders Head of Mission in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Al-Shifa hospital is the principal hospital complex in Gaza Strip, with 700 beds, providing emergency and surgical care. There are currently no other facilities in the Strip able to admit and treat as many patients with complex, sometimes life-threatening injuries. Despite regular attacks and shortages, the staff has managed to keep the hospital operational.

Yesterday, Al-Shifa hospital lost electrical power. The ambulances can no longer move to collect the injured, and non-stop bombardment prevents patients and staff from evacuating. At the time of writing, our staff are witnessing people being shot at as they attempt to flee the hospital.

“There are a lot of patients already operated on and they cannot walk. They cannot evacuate, said Dr Mohammed Obeid, Doctors Without Borders surgeon at Al-Shifa hospital. We need an ambulance to move them, we don’t have ambulances to evacuate all of these patients”.

“We cannot leave because from [yesterday] morning until now, we operated on about 25 patients. If I am not here or the other surgeon, who will take care of the patients? asked Obeid. There is a patient who needs surgery, another one is already sleeping [under anesthesia].”

Doctors Without Borders denounces the death warrant of civilians currently trapped in Al-Shifa hospital signed by the Israeli military. There needs to be an urgent and unconditional ceasefire from all warring parties; humanitarian aid must be supplied to the entirety of the Gaza Strip now.

Doctors Without Borders has lost contact with a surgeon, working and sheltering in Al-Quds hospital with his family. Other health facilities, including Al Rantisi hospital which Doctors Without Borders has also supported in the past, were reportedly surrounded

by Israeli tanks.

We urge the US, UK, Canada, Member states of the League of Arab States, Member states of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation and the European Union who have repeatedly called for the respect of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) to take action to ensure a ceasefire now. The hor-

VATICAN— A group of Benedictine nuns from Argentina will soon take up residence in the Vatican monastery where Pope Benedict XVI lived after resigning the papacy.

The Benedictine Order of the Abbey of St. Scholastica of Victoria, located in the province of Buenos Aires, accepted Pope Francis’ invitation to form a monastic community in the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery, the Vatican said Nov.

The six nuns will move into the monastery, which is located in the Vatican Gardens in Vatican City State, in early January, according to the press release.

St. John Paul II canonically erected the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery for nuns of contemplative life in 1994. Different groups of cloistered nuns, rotating every three years, lived in the convent

until November 2012.

On November 3, a truck heading to Samar broke its axle while traversing the San Juanico Bridge.

Fortunately, no motorists were injured and did not cause damage to the bridge’s railings.

“Upon investigation, it was discovered that the said truck evaded the San Juanico Weighbridge or the portable axle weighing station, and continued traversing the said bridge without undergoing weight check to determine whether or not its weight is within the allowable gross vehicle weight,” Tabacon said in a phone interview.

The official added that they have been requiring all trucks to undergo weight check at their designated weighbridge stations on both sides of the San Juanico Bridge that connects the islands of Leyte and Samar.

This, after Zubiri was quoted in a television interview last November 6, of calling for a “task force” to address violence against the members of the press.

“It may interest you to learn that the creation of the ‘SITG Johnny Walker’ by the Philippine National Police focused on solving the death of Jumalon was prompted by the request made by the

PTFoMS to address the incident.

Likewise, the entry into the probe of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) was initiated by the undersigned just minutes after learning of the incident.

“Aside from them, the undersigned also immediately coordinated with the Presidential Anti-Organized Commission (PAOCC) and with our intelligence cluster thru the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) for further assistance in resolving the killing of Mr. Jumalon as ordered

by Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” Gutierrez informed Zubiri.

Only the Philippines has a special task force dedicated to addressing all violations of the right to life, liberty, and security of all members of the media, Gutierrez noted. The PTFoMS turned 7 years old last October 11 after its creation by then President Rodrigo Duterte under Administrative Order No. 1 series of 2016.

In his letters, Gutierrez said he is also taking the opportunity to get an audience with the Senate President and with Villar to appraise them of the current efforts being undertaken by the task force in fulfillment of its core mandates.

“Moving forward, may I take this opportunity to request for an audience with you to present the current efforts being made by the PTFoMS to fulfill its core mandates. Your kind acceptance would also enable us discuss with you the challenges we are facing and how your good office can assist us in overcoming them,” Gutierrez said.| -

PLDT, Smart boost DepEd’s 2023 National Literacy Conference PLDT Inc. (PLDT) and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) supported the Department of Education’s (DepEd) 2023 National Literacy Conference (NLC) held at the DepEd Ecotech Center in Cebu City.

With the theme “Building a Culture of Literacy: The Power of Communities as Catalysts of Literacy Development”, this year’s NLC aims to strengthen multicultural and inclusive education, and increase stakeholder involvement in community-based literacy development.

“We at PLDT and Smart are one with the Department of Education in its goal of encouraging communities to take part in literacy development. Our commitment is to continue doing our part in providing quality education, to ensure that no Filipino learner gets left behind,” said Stephanie Orlino, Stakeholder Management Head at PLDT and Smart.

The two-day conference was attended by over 400 participants nationwide, including represen-

tatives from educational institutions, local government units and agencies, and non-government organizations that are implementing community-based literacy programs.

“Our goal is to promote functional literacy and ensure that every Filipino possesses the skills and knowledge in real life, equipping individuals with the ability to make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and actively participate in the workforce and

society,” said Hon. Vice President of the Philippines and DepEd Secretary Sara Z. Duterte in her keynote speech.

To raise awareness on digital literacy, the conference featured PLDT and Smart Digital Communications Senior Manager Elijah Mendoza who gave a talk on cyber security and equipped participants with tips on how to avoid being victimized by various types of phishing and other criminal activities online.

“In the age of social media, all of us are potential victims online, but at the same time we are also potential threats. That is why it is important to be digitally literate and knowledgeable about cyber security today,” said Mendoza.

PLDT and Smart also provided fiber connectivity support to the conference to enable its livestream via DepEd Philippines’ official Facebook page.

Reflections on the Word of God

FRIENDS, today’s Gospel is the parable of the talents. I want to share the interpretation of Fr. Robert Schoenstene, the best I’ve ever heard. He says that in ancient times a single talent might represent as much as fifty pounds of silver or gold.

This heaviness would have brought to the mind of a Jewish reader the heaviest weight of all, the kabod of Yahweh. The kabod was to be found in the temple, resting upon the mercy seat within the Holy of Holies. Therefore, what was heaviest of all was the mercy of God, which abided in infinite abundance in the temple.

So the talents are a share in the mercy of God, a participation in the weightiness of the divine love. But since mercy is always directed to the other, these “talents” are designed to be shared. They will increase precisely in the measure that they are given away.

Buried in the ground, hugged tightly to oneself, such a talent necessarily evanesces. Math and Agriculture

“GO down deep enough into anything and you will find mathematics” - Dean Schlicter bwa On Nov. 7, newly appointed Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. announced his plan to revive the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS). He stated that for him “the current database was somewhat incomplete making it difficult to manage domestic production of and demand for agriculture products.” Clearly, the new Agriculture Secretary intends to have a math and science driven management style for his term as the head of one of the largest departments in the government. His corporate background has clearly instilled in him the need for data and numbers for planning and implementation.

Like all other lawyers, I used to have a natural aversion to numbers. My running joke was that I became a lawyer to avoid math. As I progressed in my career, a lot of my mentors taught me the importance of numbers in many fields of endeavor. In campaign management, numbers became the key element in many of the political battles I have experienced. In business and project development, everything always began with numbers. Today, numbers and data are the alpha and omega of all my

projects. As such, I am always happy when a head of a government agency puts numbers and data at the core of his programs.

The Bureau of Agriculture and Statistics was established in 1987.

Its primary task and mandate was to collect, compile, analyze and share agricultural statistics and data. As boring as that may sound, it was one of the most important agencies in the agricultural department. During my stint in the National Food Authority (NFA), we always had close coordination with BAS during planning and during board presentations. Accurate and up to date data on farm production, farm gate price fluctuations, per capita consumption (national demand for rice) and of course the shortfall number (demand less production) were key elements for any policy decision or recommendation by the NFA. The thorny issue of rice importation numbers required precise data to quell heated arguments over this very sensitive issue. My previous boss always told me that numbers are a good ally in an issue. Having an agency dedicated

to numbers inside the department of agriculture greatly helped the agriculture planning officials. When BAS was folded in with the other statistics and numbers agencies into the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the bond between BAS and the other agriculture agencies were weakened.

Numbers have always been an integral part of agriculture. Agriculture is basically the science and practice of cultivating soil, growing crops and raising livestock. At the core of agriculture however is lots of math and data. I guess this is one of the reasons why agriculture is still not a popular choice of career for many young people.

Agriculture relies on tons of data such as weather, climate, soil, temperature, production, sunlight and recently agri-tech. On top of that these data must be analyzed and then converted to tables and other analysis tools for consumption of the decision makers. Not only do you need data in agriculture but the planners and said policy makers must be able to read the data. My previous boss in the NFA always told me that reading data is one of the most important skills for a manager.

LAST week, the country’s statistics agency reported that the economy grew by 5.9 percent in the third quarter of 2023 on the back of increased public spending despite persisting inflationary pressures.

IN the fast-paced world we live in, it is easy to let memories slip away.

Setting forth during the pandemic in 2021, I came across this creative approach to journaling, called “one-line-a-day” method, which involves dedicating just a single line to each day’s events, thoughts, or emotions. Like practically unveiling a time capsule, I looked back to my entries from the start of 2021. Having been filled with the joy of spendFROM HINDSIGHT ing time with my beloved grandSheenalei Briana G. Rayos* father and how his presence had been a constant source of warmth and wisdom until his passing in May of the same year brought me back to the vivid tapestry of my past. My reflections also took me back to the cusp of my senior high school experience. With a mix of anticipation and unproductivity at some point, I penned my thoughts, envisioning the challenges that awaited me. Now, as a sophomore pre-med student, I feel a surge of excitement as I revisit those early entries. I feel like going back to writing more in my one-linea-day memory book to pen a testament to my resilience and ambition.

Just imagine the joy of revisiting your own one-line-a-day memory book years from now. You will be able to relive the highs and lows, the triumphs and challenges, and the everyday moments that shaped your life. Prepare workforce for transition to low-carbon economy: ADB pape GOVERNMENTS in Asia and the Pacific can update qualifications in line with the different skilling needs between green jobs and promote technical education and sustainability competences in a bid to speed up the development of a workforce ready for the green economy of the future, according to a paper released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

A brief titled “Preparing the Workforce for the Low-Carbon Economy: A Closer Look at Green Jobs and Green Skills” outlined suggestions how policymakers can help prepare workforces for the transition to a low-carbon economies, as green skill needs differ between jobs.

The ADB brief said greening curricula is not a uniform process for each qualification as some green jobs change moderately and have low or moderate levels of greenness requiring some

degree of updating in qualifications.

“This can range from making changes to existing curricula, introducing new modules to rolling out short-term continuous education programs for re- and upskilling,” it said.

The paper said other jobs–ranging from introducing specialized tracks within existing qualifications to developing completely new ones– are fundamentally new to the green economy and have a high level of greenness requiring fundamental changes to qualifications.

“Governments may lead the updating of qualifications in a topdown approach but may also support and incentivize actors in the broader skills ecosystem to become active,” it added.

Key actions can include establishing green centers of excellence, technical training for teachers, promoting work-based training, and developing greened qualification standards, curricula and training and assessment materials, it added.

The brief also highlighted the importance of teaching sustainability as a mindset and competence in primary and secondary education, as well as TVET. This requires updating curricula to teach sustainability competences and corresponding teacher capacity building, among others, it said.

Further, the paper said it is also imperative to conduct green labor market forecasts and analyses, as the green transition will impact countries and labor markets differently depending on country-specific factors and green transition plans.

IOC president calls for unity in sport amid geopolitical tensions GENEVA – International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach has emphasized the critical need for unity in the sporting world amidst increasing geopolitical tensions.

He conveyed this message while welcoming attendees to the 2023 International Federation (IF) Forum in Lausanne, Switzerland on Monday.

Speaking at the Olympic Museum, Bach highlighted sport’s ability to unite people, particularly during times of division.

He emphasized the crucial need for solidarity in addressing the current global challenges facing the sports world.

“The current geopolitical tensions are extremely complex. In such times, the unifying power of sport is more important than ever before,” he said. “To be such a unifying power, it is essential that we all stand together.”

“Today, millions of people around the globe are longing for such a unifying force that brings us all together in our so confrontational world. Our role is clear: to unite - and not to deepen divisions. Therefore, we carry an important responsibility - to stand together for the power of sport and to live up to our shared mission to make the world a better place through sport.”

Bach said the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games could serve as “a symbol of unity and peace,” capable of uniting the world.

“We all share the expectations of millions of people around the globe,” he said. “They all have to experience so many divisions and confrontations in their daily lives that they are longing for something that unifies us, something that gives us hope, something that gives us optimism. After the pandemic, people are longing to come together again.”

Bach also discussed the imminent future in the digital realm,

where rapid advancements in AI and esports present both opportunities and challenges for the Olympic Movement.

He informed attendees about the mission of the newly formed IOC Esports Commission, chaired

by IOC Member and International Cycling Union (UCI) president David Lappartient, to explore the creation of the Olympic Esports Games.

Bach said two guiding principles have been established: “The first one is: whenever there is an IF engaged in esports, this IF will be our first go-to partner. The second principle is: we will again focus on our values and we will stay true to our values - the Olympic values of peace, respect, non-discrimination, and solidarity - that have guided us for over a century.”

“Our values are and remain the red line that we will not cross.

Any development in esports will be guided by these two principles and will be guided by the respect for these values,” he added.

Bach pointed out the significant opportunities AI presents, noting its potential to transform many aspects of sports.

“AI will change our lives and it will change sports. This is already happening in some sports. Just think of ‘VAR’ in football or ‘HawkEye’ in tennis. AI has the potential to revolutionize the training of athletes. It has the potential to revolutionize judging and refereeing; sports broadcasting and the spectator experience; the organization of sport events; the list goes on and on,” he said.

The IOC has established a working group of experts to guide the organization concerning AI. Bach invited the IFs to contribute their insights to this discussion.
