Thank you so much! My journey into fashion design has been a deeply rewarding one For the past 35 years, I’ve immersed myself in the fashion industry, developing a deep understanding of how to flatter a woman’s figure while catering to her needs and comfort My passion for fashion began early, and I pursued it by studying fashion design after completing school. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with several successful clothing companies, where I honed my skills in design, fabric selection, and understanding market trends Over the years, I've developed a keen eye for creating garments that not only look beautiful but also provide a perfect fit and exceptional comfort This extensive experience has been instrumental in shaping my design philosophy and vision With IBSA, I’m thrilled to bring to life a brand that focuses on simplicity, comfort, and effortless style elements that are essential for flattering and enhancing the modern woman’s wardrobe. Launching IBSA is a culmination of my years in the industry and my dedication to crafting pieces that truly resonate with women and their lifestyles

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CREATE IBSA?

IBSA was born out of a desire to bring a fresh perspective to casual wear. We noticed a gap in the market for clothing that combines simplicity with comfort, and we wanted to fill that void with a line that emphasises effortless style. The name “IBSA” reflects this ethos—it’s about embracing uncomplicated, yet striking fashion that resonates with real, everyday needs. I was inspired by the idea of creating garments that are not only stylish but also make women feel confident and at ease in their day-to-day lives.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE AESTHETIC AND PHILOSOPHY OF IBSA?

The aesthetic of IBSA is all about simplicity and ease. Our designs are clean and minimalist, focusing on striking prints and vibrant colour combinations that make a statement without overwhelming. The philosophy behind IBSA is to offer comfortable, high-quality cotton garments that cater to a casual lifestyle. It’s about providing versatile pieces that are both fashionable and practical, allowing women to express their personal style effortlessly.

Our inaugural spring collection is a celebration of the season’s fresh, vibrant energy. Inspired by the changing colours and rejuvenation of spring, the collection features simple yet eyecatching prints and a palette of refreshing colours Each piece is designed with a focus on comfort and ease, using high-quality cotton to ensure a perfect fit and feel. We aimed to create a range that feels both modern and timeless, capturing the essence of spring’s renewal in every garment

For our future summer collections, we’re excited to continue building on the core values of IBSA simplicity, comfort, and effortless style Expect to see an expansion of our range that embraces the carefree spirit of summer with fresh, vibrant designs

We will continue to use lightweight, breathable cotton fabrics to keep you cool and comfortable during the warmer months. The prints will be inspired by the lively colours and patterns of summer, featuring bold, playful designs and new colour combinations that capture the essence of the season

Our summer pieces will maintain the versatility that our customers love, designed to seamlessly transition from beach outings to casual dinners and everything in between. We’ll also be exploring new silhouettes and styles to offer a range of options that suit various summer activities and occasions Overall, our aim is to provide collections that are not only stylish and on-trend but also practical and easy to wear, ensuring that IBSA remains a go-to choice for relaxed, chic summer fashion.

Imagine a sunny afternoon picnic or a sophisticated garden party, these little pies add a touch of gourmet flair to any outdoor occasion The beauty of Mini Key Lime Pies lies in their simplicity and versatility, their small size makes them perfect for mingling and socializing. They can be prepared ahead of time, allowing you to spend more time with your guests rather than in the kitchen Simply chill them until you're ready to serve, then garnish with a touch of whipped cream and a sprinkle of lime zest and blueberries for an elegant finish.

Semi Sweet or Dark Chocolate - 3 oz

Sweetened Shredded Coconut- 3 Cups

Cream Cheese - Softened - 8 oz

Limes - 3, Plus more for Garnishing

Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 can (14 oz )

Whipped Cream - 250g

Step 1: Preparing the Tart Crust

Preheat your oven to 160°C / Grease mini pie tins. or cupcake tray

Step 2: Making and Baking the Crust

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate in 30-second intervals until just melted. Stir in the coconut

Using your hands, firmly press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the greased pan to form an even layer. Place the pan on a cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is firm. Allow it to cool completely

Step 3: Preparing the Filling

In a large bowl, using a mixer on high speed, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Grate 1 teaspoon of zest from the limes and squeeze 1/2 cup of juice Beat the lime zest and juice into the cream cheese mixture along with the condensed milk until well blended. Pour the filling into the cooled crust. Chill for 2 hours or until the filling is set. It can be prepared up to 1 day in advance

Garnish with whipped cream and additional zest before serving.
