TOWARDS THE ROOM...

THE CHOICE OF INFORMATION

The journey continues with the exploration of the rooms where the choice of information becomes the main issue of consideration. This time, images can illustrate choice giving the freedom to the user to choose the medium that he wants to be surrounded with. The projected surfaces interact with the user creating an imaginary world where the only material is light.

SECOND LEVEL

Six typical rooms are placed in the second level of the building. Each room stands as an autonomous unit while the interior is shaped from suspended horizontal and vertical planes which define the basic functions of the room.

SECTION

At first the surfaces of the room are blank, waiting for the user to act in order to create his own environment.

The experience continues while the choice to project images, textures or materials in any surface of the room create different levels of interaction.

The surfaces take on the characteristics of the projected images which become the skin of the room.

Changeable environments and different situations are created depending on the needs of the user while the idea of information becomes temporal as the overall experience in the building.
