PREFACE

LANDMECO is experiencing solid development and growth across all business areas, including broiler, layer, rearing, and breeder solutions. Our innovative solutions for the poultry industry are delivered worldwide, and we remain close to our customers through our strong market presence and, in particular, through our dedicated dealer network, which is closely connected to LANDMECO.

Across all customer segments, our focus is to create the best possible results for our customers. We do this by delivering solutions that support high production efficiency, optimal operation, and responsible use of resources — economically, operationally, and environmentally. In this way, we help strengthen our customers’ competitiveness.

At LANDMECO, the distance from idea to action is short. We always begin with the market and our customers’ needs in mind, and we work closely with customers throughout the entire process — from idea and development to finished product. This enables us to create solutions that are practical, efficient, and adapted to the realities of poultry production.

A key part of our approach is to ensure optimal operation for the farmer. This applies not only to our products, but also to the service and support we provide. Through our global dealer network, we aim to ensure a high professional service level that is flexible and available when the farmer needs it.

Our foremost task is to remain proactive and responsive to the changing needs of customers across the many markets in which LANDMECO is represented. Our size is a strength in this regard. Combined with our production in Denmark, it allows us to maintain a high level of flexibility, innovation, speed, and adaptability. These qualities are essential to staying ahead and to delivering high-quality products with a focus on optimal yield, efficiency, and animal welfare.

Sustainability and our impact on future generations are also important focus areas for LANDMECO. We have therefore developed an ESG strategy that forms the foundation for our continued work with environmental, social, and governance-related responsibility. Our ESG strategy is centered around sustainable growth and responsible business practices. We are committed to improving resource efficiency, reducing our environmental footprint, minimizing waste, and continuously exploring opportunities to integrate more energy-efficient solutions into our operations. We also prioritize employee well-being, safety, professional development, and diversity, while working to strengthen responsible governance and ethical business conduct across the organisation and our value chain. As part of our ESG work, we have identified three UN Sustainable.

Development Goals where LANDMECO has a particular opportunity to contribute:

• SDG 2 – Zero Hunger

• SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy

• SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth

This report covers the financial years from 2020 through 2025, with the latest reporting year covering the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. Our ambition is to continuously improve our environmental performance, strengthen our responsibility as an employer, and ensure sound and accountable governance of LANDMECO. We believe that by taking responsibility for our actions and continuing to improve the way we operate, we can contribute to a more sustainable future for our customers, employees, partners, and future generations.

We hope that you will read our ESG report with great interest.

LANDMECO AT A GLANCE

LANDMECO A/S was founded in 1932 and has grown into an international manufacturer of equipment for poultry.

It all started in the small Danish town of Ølgod, when Christian Andersen, in addition to managing his orchard, founded a chicken farm by purchasing 200 chicks. Unfortunately, half of them died due to illness, and his first earnings from egg sales were only 7.20 DKK (approximately €1). After the Second World War, the fruit trees gradually disappeared, and the chicken farm business became the backbone of the company.

In 1961, his son Søren Andersen joined the company, and by 1965, the chicken farming operation had expanded to a hatchery with a capacity of 250,000 eggs. The hatchery served both broilers and layers. The size of the private flock had grown to 15,000 hens. By 1970, the farm was also approved as a breeding center.

Poultry equipment distribution began in 1970 and soon included a variety of products, such as drinking and feeding systems, laying systems, and liquid vitamins. In 1977, the company underwent a generational change, making Søren Andersen the new owner and manager. In 1979, the company was renamed LANDMECO.

During the 1980s, LANDMECO began manufacturing poultry equipment. Initially, nests were produced. Since the farm's production involved floor-raised hens, this setup provided a good opportunity to experiment with different types of equipment, seeking solutions that outperformed existing systems. Subsequently, LANDMECO began developing feeding systems, including both pan and trough options, for broilers, breeders, and layers.

In 1996, LANDMECO launched the Harmony aviary system. Today, the system is still sold, but in newly developed and modified versions. In 1999, LANDMECO introduced its well-known patented pan feeding system featuring kick-off and easy-clean mechanisms. This system continues to be sold in a new and improved version.

In addition to the products mentioned, LANDMECO manufactures many other components for poultry equipment today and has evolved to become Scandinavia's largest producer within the sector, with exports to many parts of the world. Both the dealer and service networks are well developed, ensuring that the company remains close to its customers and responsive to their needs in all countries where LANDMECO is represented.

LANDMECO has developed into an innovative, modern, high-tech company with a strong focus on both product efficiency and sustainability. It is very important to us that we are in the forefront of development to ensure that the animals in the LANDMECO inventory experience the best possible welfare and that our products are produced in the most sustainable way.

“In our approach, we consider sustainability both upstream and downstream. We set high standards for our suppliers, and our sales focus is on free-range and organic chicken customers. For us, it is about taking care of the environment and the planet,” says CEO Anders K. Andersen

We aim to minimize our environmental footprint by implementing energy-efficient measures, reducing waste, and transitioning to renewable energy sources for our production processes. Our goal is to steadily reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Employee well-being and safety are paramount to us. We prioritize creating a safe and inclusive work environment for our workforce and collaborate with our suppliers to ensure that human rights violations have no place in our supply chain. LANDMECO has chosen three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which represent the pillars of our ESG strategy.

SDG 2: Zero Hunger

2.4.1: Proportion of agricultural area under productive and sustainable agriculture.

This aligns with LANDMECO's ESG strategy of promoting sustainable agriculture and food systems.

We are committed to ensuring sustainable food production systems and implementing resilient agricultural practices that not only increase productivity and production but also help maintain ecosystems, strengthen capacity for adaptation to climate change, and progressively improve land and soil quality.

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

7.1.2: Share of renewable energy within the total energy consumption.

This supports LANDMECO's ESG strategy by advocating for the adoption of renewable energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting energy efficiency in our operations to achieve a sustainable and low-carbon future.

As a production company, we are committed to decreasing our carbon footprint.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

8.5.1: Average hourly earnings of female and male employees, by occupation, age, and persons with disability.

This is integral to LANDMECO's ESG strategy as it emphasizes fair treatment, diversity, and a safe working environment for employees. Moreover, also driving economic growth through responsible business practices and fostering partnerships for sustainable development.

We are goal-oriented in our efforts to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, both internally at LANDMECO and among our key suppliers. Our focus is on the diversity of nationalities, cultures, and genders, as well as the inclusion of people with disabilities.

LANDMECO ESG RISKS

Risks

Initiatives to Mitigate Risks

Resource Consumption and Climate Impact (E)

LANDMECO operates within the agricultural sector, where resource consumption and climate-related impacts are increasingly important considerations. Rising expectations from customers, stakeholders, and regulators regarding greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, waste management, and resource efficiency may create both operational and reputational risks if not managed effectively.

LANDMECO continuously works to improve resource efficiency across its operations through energy optimization, waste reduction, and responsible use of resources. Environmental performance is monitored through relevant ESG indicators, while ongoing investments and operational improvements support the company's ambition to grow without a proportional increase in environmental impact.

Employee Attraction, Retention and Workplace Safety (S)

As LANDMECO continues to grow, attracting, developing, and retaining skilled employees remains a key business priority. Challenges related to recruitment, workplace safety, and employee well-being may affect operational performance, organisational knowledge, and long-term growth.

LANDMECO focuses on creating an attractive and inclusive workplace through employee development opportunities, well-being initiatives, and a strong safety culture. Ongoing attention to working conditions, employee engagement, and professional development helps support long-term employee retention and organisational stability.

Supply Chain and Labor Practices (S)

LANDMECO's supply chain may be exposed to risks related to labor conditions, human rights, health and safety, and ethical business practices. Failure to identify and address such risks could negatively impact stakeholders, business relationships, and the company's reputation.

LANDMECO promotes responsible business conduct through supplier dialogue, annual supplier meetings, and clear expectations regarding ethical and responsible practices. The company seeks to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and encourage continuous improvement in social and labor-related standards throughout the supply chain.

Risks

Initiatives to Mitigate Risks

Cyber Security, Data Protection and Regulatory Safety (G)

Increasing digitalization and evolving cyber threats create risks related to data security, business continuity, and protection of sensitive information. In addition, failure to comply with data protection legislation and other regulatory requirements could result in financial, operational, and reputational consequences.

LANDMECO continuously strengthens its cybersecurity framework through security policies, access controls, employee awareness training, and ongoing monitoring of digital risks. Training in cybersecurity, information security, and GDPR helps promote a strong security culture and supports compliance with applicable regulations.

Corporate Governance and Business Ethics (G)

Strong governance and ethical business conduct are essential to maintaining stakeholder trust and ensuring sustainable business operations. Risks related to governance may include insufficient oversight, non-compliance with legal requirements, unethical behavior, or lack of accountability within the organisation.

LANDMECO mitigates governance-related risks through active board oversight, and a commitment to transparency and accountability. The company's Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Scheme support ethical business practices and provide clear guidelines and reporting channels for employees and stakeholders.

ENVIRONMENTAL

The poultry industry is generally recognised as one of the most resource-efficient animal protein sectors, requiring less land, water, and feed compared to many other forms of livestock production. As demand for efficient and lower-impact food production continues to grow, LANDMECO sees both opportunities and responsibilities in supporting the industry's development. As a supplier to the poultry sector, we recognize the importance of managing our own environmental footprint while supporting sustainable growth. Our ambition is to continuously improve resource efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. This includes a focus on energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and responsible use of natural resources.

Since 2020, LANDMECO has worked systematically to improve its environmental performance. Through targeted initiatives and operational improvements, we have significantly reduced CO₂e emissions per full-time employee within Scope 1 and Scope 2.

“This years report shows that between 2020 and 2025, emissions per employee decreased by approximately 70%, demonstrating our ability to grow while improving environmental efficiency." says CEO Anders K. Andersen

Energy Efficiency

LANDMECO's energy consumption has remained relatively stable in recent years despite substantial growth in both business activity and workforce. This development demonstrates an increasing level of resource efficiency, as the company's energy consumption has not grown at the same rate as its operations.

The ability to decouple growth from energy consumption is an important part of LANDMECO's environmental approach. Through continuous investments in energy-efficient equipment, optimization of facilities, and increased awareness of resource consumption, we have improved our energy efficiency while supporting the company's expansion. Maintaining this positive development remains a key priority, and energy efficiency will continue to be considered in future investments and operational improvements.

Waste

Responsible waste management is an important part of LANDMECO's environmental efforts. We work continuously to maximize recycling and minimize waste sent for incineration or landfill. A strong culture of waste sorting has been established across the organisation, ensuring that materials such as metals, cardboard, paper, plastic films, and hard plastics are separated and directed towards appropriate recycling streams. Through employee engagement and clear procedures, we have achieved a high recycling rate and continue to identify opportunities for further improvements in resource utilization and circularity.

Water

Water consumption increased in 2025 as a result of the company's continued growth and expansion. The increase is related to a larger workforce, leading to higher consumption in daily facilities such as restrooms and employee amenities.

Although water consumption is not currently considered a significant environmental impact area for LANDMECO, we recognize the importance of monitoring resource use and establishing a clear understanding of consumption patterns. As the company continues to grow, we will maintain focus on identifying opportunities to improve resource efficiency and support responsible water management.

“We have ambitious goals for turnover and for having the best delivery time in the industry. To reach these goals, our employees are the determining factor. Therefore, we are equally focused on creating the best workplace, with high well-being and the opportunity for personal development,” says CEO

SOCIAL

An Inclusive Workplace

At LANDMECO, our employees are one of our most important assets. Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace is therefore a key priority. We believe that employee well-being, safety, and professional development are essential to maintaining a strong organisation and delivering high-quality service and support to our customers. We focus on building a workplace where different skills, experiences, and perspectives are valued. In 2025, LANDMECO had 98 employees representing ten different nationalities, reflecting a diverse and international working environment.

Personal and professional development is also an important part of our social responsibility. We aim to provide employees with opportunities to take on new responsibilities, develop their competencies, and receive the training needed to grow within the company.

As part of the company’s significant growth in recent years, LANDMECO has experienced changes in workforce composition and organisational structure. Employee turnover is therefore monitored closely, as retaining skilled employees remains important for maintaining knowledge, continuity, and a strong company culture.

The development in employee turnover should be viewed in the context of the company’s rapid growth and ongoing capacity adjustments, where new competencies and organisational changes have been necessary to support increased activity. LANDMECO remains committed to creating an attractive workplace that supports employee well-being, engagement, and long-term retention.

Employee Well-being and Social Activities

The social aspect of working at LANDMECO plays an important role in creating a strong workplace culture. Throughout the year, we organize various employee events that support collaboration, engagement, and a sense of community across the organisation. In Denmark, employees also have access to a well-equipped gym at the company’s premises. We believe that physical well-being contributes positively to job satisfaction, energy, and overall employee well-being.

Focus On Our Supply Chain

LANDMECO’s social responsibility extends beyond our own organisation. We also focus on the working conditions and human rights aspects within our supply chain. Through ongoing dialogue and annual meetings with selected suppliers, we discuss production processes, working conditions, and expectations related to responsible business conduct. This helps us strengthen awareness and reduce the risk of human rights violations or unacceptable working conditions in our value chain. By focusing on social responsibility, LANDMECO aims to support employee well-being, reduce operational risks, strengthen employee engagement, and maintain an attractive workplace for both current and future employees.

GOVERNANCE

Corporate Governance

At LANDMECO, responsible governance forms the foundation for sustainable business development and longterm value creation. We are committed to maintaining a governance structure that supports accountability, transparency, sound decision-making, and effective risk management.

The Board of Directors plays an active role in overseeing the company's strategic direction and ensuring that the necessary competencies and perspectives are represented. Diversity, professional expertise, and active engagement are important considerations in the composition of the Board. LANDMECO complies with the recommendations and reporting requirements established by the Danish Business Authority regarding diversity and gender representation in management.

Risk management is an integral part of our governance framework. Through continuous assessment of financial, strategic, operational, and compliance-related risks, we aim to strengthen business resilience and support informed decision-making across the organisation. In 2025, the Board maintained a 100% attendance rate at board meetings, reflecting a strong commitment to active governance and oversight.

IT Security

As digitalization continues to increase, cybersecurity and information security remain key priorities for LANDMECO. External threats are constantly evolving, making it essential to maintain a proactive approach to protecting the company’s systems, data, and business operations.

To support this effort, LANDMECO has implemented a range of security policies and procedures, including access management controls and system security measures. Information security is continuously reviewed and strengthened to address emerging risks and ensure

compliance with applicable regulations and best practices. Employee awareness also plays a critical role in maintaining a strong security culture. Therefore, employees participate in training and awareness programs covering cybersecurity, information security, and GDPR.

By increasing knowledge and awareness across the organisation, LANDMECO seeks to reduce security risks and promote responsible handling of information and digital assets.

Whistleblower Scheme and Code of Conduct

Transparency, integrity, and accountability are important values at LANDMECO. To support responsible business conduct, LANDMECO, in collaboration with its owner SKIOLD, implemented both a Whistleblower Scheme and a Code of Conduct in 2023.

The Whistleblower Scheme provides employees and other stakeholders with a secure and confidential channel for reporting inappropriate behavior, unethical conduct, or potential violations of laws and regulations. The scheme allows reports to be submitted anonymously and ensures that all cases are handled professionally, fairly, and efficiently.

The Code of Conduct establishes the principles and expectations that guide behavior across the organisation and supports LANDMECO's commitment to ethical business practices, respect for human rights, responsible working conditions, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Together, these initiatives help promote a culture of openness, honesty, and accountability, while strengthening trust among employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

ESG KEY FIGURES

ESG encompasses three areas: environmental and climate conditions, social conditions, and governance conditions. This report provides an overview of the company’s sustainability progress and performance. It covers the financial year from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and includes relevant data reaching back to the year 2020.

The revenue activity at LANDMECO has experienced a fluctuating development from 2020 to 2025. In 2020, activity increased by 2.5%, followed by significant growth of 51% in 2021. The years 2022 and 2023 were marked by a decline in revenue of 9% each year, reflecting a period of downturn. In 2024, we saw a substantial increase in revenue of 58%, indicating a strong and renewed level of activity within the company. This momentum accelerated further in 2025, with revenue increasing by 136.9% compared to 2024. The development reflects a period of significant growth and highlights LANDMECO's ability to scale its operations while continuing to strengthen its market position.

Accounting Practices for Calculating E-metrics

Our E-metrics are based on data from utility companies and suppliers. To convert this data into CO2e equivalents (CO2e), we use the Danish Business Authority's calculation tool “Klimakompasset”, which follows the principles of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol). The emission factor used for electricity is sourced from the relevant “Environmental Declaration”. Environmental declaration = locationbased. Electricity declaration = marketbased.

Scope Assessment

In preparing this sustainability report, we have primarily focused on data available within our own operations. Our reporting is currently centred on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, covering energy consumption related to the operation of our facilities and transportation vehicles. In addition, selected Scope 3 categories have been included where reliable data is available. Certain Scope 3 emissions are also closely linked to activities covered by Scope 1 and Scope 2, reflecting the interconnected nature of our value chain emissions.

Scope 3

The majority of a company's total climate footprint usually lies in Scope 3, which typically involves

and often only indirect influence. This scope is partially included in this report.

Historical Data and Development

In

Energy Distrubution (MWh)

Company cars Heating Electricity

The energy consumption is divided into three main areas: electricity, heating, and company cars. From 2020 to 2025, electricity consumption has increased, while company cars and heating consumption have decreased. We maintain a continuous focus on reducing our consumption across all three areas.
