Contact Wire Custom Wire Composite Strip Our electrical contact material series comprises of a wide range of contact wires in multiple material configurations and composite contact strips that are used vastly in circuit breaker, relays, thermal control, switches and consumer electronics.

Contact wires are available either in pure silver (Ag) or silver alloy materials which are customizable to specific applications.

Wires are also available in different customizable profile and are available either in solid or composite variation.

Composite contact strip is a new contact material technology that embed electrical contacts on different metal strips. by replacing certain area with less expensive materials, significant cost saving can be attain.

Improved Welding Resistant High Conductivity

Fine-Grain Silver is a silver alloy with an addition of 0.15 wt% of Nickel. It has almost the same chemical corrosion resistance as pure silver and exhibits a slightly increased hardness and tensile strength.

Improved Welding & Electrical Wear Resistant

Produced using extrusion of sintered Ag/Ni billets into wires, Nickel particles are embedded in the Ag matrix as fiber structure. With Nickel content ranging 10-30 wt%, AgNi contact wires are commonly used in relays, wiring devices, appliance switches, thermostatic controls, auxiliary switches, and small contactors with nominal currents.

Manufactured using either sintering/extrusion or power metallurgy method, it is commonly used in low voltage electrical switching devices like relays, installation and distribution switches, appliances, industrial controls, motor controls, and protective devices.

AgSnO2In2O3 High Arc Resistance Good Resistance to Contact Welding

By introducing addictive to AgSnO2 produced using powder metallurgy, Silver-Tin-Indium Oxide features good welding resistance and low level of arc erosion.

It also provides low and stable contact resistance over temperature changes during the working lifespan.

Equipped with stable resistance over change in temperature, this material is widely used electrical switching devices including relays, contactors, switches and numerous protective devices.

METAL COMPOSITE STRIPS - CONTACT MATERIALS

Metal Composite Strip Metal Contact Composite Strip is an advanced production technology that seeks to incorporate electrical contact on different metal material strips.

The primary advantage of combining different metals is reflected in material cost saving which seeks to replace certain area with less expensive metal material without sacrificing functionality. Another advantage of using composite strip is the flexibility to increase conductivity on specific contact area without additional electrical contact components.

Realized through multiple processes, metal composite strip is available in 2 variation, namely Overlay Composite and Recessed Composite.
