Riveting Welding Stamped Multi Process Assembled Contact Component plays a critical role in electric current control as it determines the functionality and reliability of electrical current control devices such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and contactors. The bonding strength between the silver contact and the corresponding mounting components must therefore remain tightly secure at all times to ensure uninterrupted electrical control.

Depending on the design of the electrical circuitry and the shape of the final assembled part, 3 different methodology was deployed to secure the electrical contact to their copper component counterpart, namely through riveting, welding and stamping process.

Riveting In-mould riveting process is commonly used to mount rivet contact onto copper component. This is achieved by an automated in-mould riveting process where the contact rivet is first mounted onto the through-hole of the copper component before forces are applied on the base of the rivet to secure it to the component.

Welding In-mould welding is the latest manufacturing technology that is used to assemble flake contact plate onto copper component. It requires only metal contact alloy wire and copper belt to produce an assembled component with strong bonding strength, increased efficiency and competitive component cost.

Stamping Using advanced progressive stamping processing technique, composite contact strip that is pre-manufactured according to client requirement undergo multiple stages of shape forming in one production process to ensure critical dimensions are kept well within the specified tolerance.

Assembly Multi-assembly component comprises of multiple parts which require a combination of screw insertion, welding and riveting process to form a final assembled part.
