OWL & THISTLE DESIGN

Located in Katoomba, Owl & Thistle Design is run by graphic designer and illustrator Kathryn Beaton, who studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in Print Media, and also holds a Diploma of Graphic Design. Kathryn specialises in wedding stationery – invitations, place cards and welcome signs – as well as laser-cut wooden designs and jewellery.

“I love refl ecting the uniqueness of each individual couple. Invitations often set the tone for what kind of ceremony it’s going to be, so I strive to refl ect that in all my designs,” says the talented designer, who also loves creating sustainable and recycled designs with a community focus.
