Justin Godur
President
Justin Godur’s approach in life is based on the belief that generosity is a daily practice, measured not only in dollars given but in time, sweat, and the stubborn insistence that people and animals deserve dignity He builds, he gives, and he shows up, evident in his volunteer work and many philanthropic endeavors.
Behind his generosity is his belief that people truly matter He builds because communities deserve to live with hope. And he keeps going because, in his words, “When you have the ability to change the outcome for someone else even a little you do it That’s what I’m here for.”
His Work in the Aftermath of Hurricane Dorian
After Hurricane Dorian tore through the Bahamas in 2019, flattening structures and displacing 70,000 people, Justin didn’t just donate He organized a team and hosted a mission trip to provide food and critical supplies to the victims, helped rebuild parts of a rip-torn town, and arranged housing for families who had lost everything Justin and his team also rescued animals left stranded in the chaos and set up resources so communities could keep caring for them long after the news in the headlines disappeared. This trip was pivotal for Justin, helping to clarify his life’s purpose to help others
Turning Resources Into Real-Life Impact
Justin Godur’s approach to giving is widespread and practical. He funds what keeps people alive and moving, from putting food on the table to a roof over people’s heads and providing transportation, medicine, healthcare, school, and clothing – all support systems that restore stability and open pathways forward.
Through Justin’s company’s work in private lending consulting, he views lending and investing as vehicles to benefit communities as much as they benefit businesses. Deals aren’t just transactions; they’re opportunities to make sure families eat this week, a student stays enrolled, or a neighborhood clinic keeps the lights on
When structuring loan terms, he fights to help others win because the impact multiplies when the other side can breathe. For example, one of Justin’s clients needed a loan completed within 48 hours to save his business. Justin went the distance to ensure the loan was funded and his client’s business was saved
His Love of Animals
Animals have a permanent place in Justin’s heart. He rescued and saved thousands of animals, supporting Abandoned Pet Rescue with ongoing funding for food and medications, and building an entire dog park so the dogs could run, play, and heal instead of spending their days behind bars. Justin refers to the park as “freedom engineered,” a simple piece of infrastructure that turns stress into joy and gives adopters a chance to see each dog’s true personality
Championing Diverse Causes That Shape a Better Future
Justin’s philanthropy touches an extraordinary range of causes, from hunger relief to disaster response, children’s health, medical research, housing, veterans’ services, education,
environmental protection, global aid, civil liberties, and wildlife For him, giving broadly isn’t about ticking off boxes; it’s about addressing the real needs of real people wherever they live.
He has supported efforts connected to Feeding America, Good360, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, United Way Worldwide, Direct Relief, The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity International, Americares, Goodwill Industries International, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, YMCA of the USA, Compassion International, Samaritan’s Purse, MAP International, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the American Red Cross, The Arc of the United States, UNICEF, World Vision, Mount Sinai Health System, Lutheran Services in America, The Nature Conservancy, Doctors Without Borders USA, HealthWell Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Cru, Convoy of Hope, the American Heart Association, Mayo Clinic, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, CARE USA, Task Force for Global Health, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Catholic Relief Services, Make-A-Wish, Midwest Food Bank, Providence St. Joseph Health, Feed the Children, Easterseals, International Rescue Committee, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cross Catholic Outreach, Food for the Poor, Cedars-Sinai, Wounded Warrior Project, Save the Children, Heart to Heart International, World Wildlife Fund, Alzheimer’s Association, ACLU & Foundation, Scholarship America, Giving USA Foundation, Forbes/Forbes Media initiatives, World Central Kitchen, and the Ray of Hope Foundation, among many others
A Mentor for the Next Generation

He shares practical knowledge, opens doors when he can, and lets them know there is hope, they have talent, and can rise above their circumstances. His reward is when he sees the faces of first-generation graduates, new business owners, and volunteers who now lead projects of their own.
Everything Justin Godur does is based on the values he tries to live by: integrity, honesty, personal responsibility, compassion, kindness, gratitude, self-respect, and a commitment to continuous growth and learning Generosity is part of Justin’s DNA in the way he shows up, in how he listens, negotiates, provides support, and measures success.
When asked about what he is most proud of, Justin doesn’t talk about numbers He tells you about the family who had a home after a rebuild, the dog playing in the grass instead of pacing in a kennel, or the teen who applied to college
