01 Emerald Necklace [INDIVIDUAL WORK] Project Type:Adaptable Landscape Design Project Location:Shenzhen Bay,NanShan District Shenzhen,China Date:2022.10-2023.1

In The Late 1970s, In Order To Increase Exchanges With Hong Kong And Speed Up Economic Development, Shenzhen Carried Out A Small Amount Of Land Reclamation In Shekou Peninsula And Yantian District Near Hong Kong.

Later, Qianhai Was Vigorously Developed And A Huge Land Reclamation Project Was Carried Out. Excessive Land Reclamation Has Exposed Shenzhen To The Risks Of Soil Erosion, Ecological Damage And Seawater Intrusion.

The Project Aimed To Design A System To Assist Coastal Cities In Coping With The Climate Change Crisis. In The Face Of Possible Future Typhoons And Sea Level Rise Crises, The Introduction Of Protective Landscapes Will Activate The City's Waterfront Rather Than Severing The City's Connection To The Water.

The Transformation Of An Otherwise Flat And Uninteresting Public Space Into A Flood-Protected Landscape That Integrates Rainwater Management, Recreation, Social Services And Science Education Will Create An Active Shoreline That Meanders Through Dozens Of Kilometres Of Shenzhen Bay.

Suzhou Is The Birthplace Of Wu Culture, And The Pingjiang Road Historic District Lies At The Heart Of This Culture. The Neighbourhood Has Retained Traces Of Its 2,500-Year History With Few Significant Changes. Over The Past 20 Years, Pingjiang Road Has Undergone Commercial Development, Attracting Large Numbers Of Tourists While Losing Much Of Its Traditional Culture And Disturbing And Encroaching On The Living Quarters Of The Original Inhabitants.

My Project Aims To Create A Pleasant, Historically And Culturally Rich Environment For Tourists And Local Residents To Visit And Live In By Preserving And Promoting The Ancient Cultural Heritage Of The Suzhou Region.

My Cultural Renovation Project Will Combine Innovative Visitor Experiences, Historical And Cultural Heritage And Modern Conveniences To Revitalise The Area And Breathe New Life Into The Cultural Life Of The Neighbourhood.

Suzhou Is The Birthplace Of The Wu Culture And Lies At Its Heart. The Centre Of The City Has Been In Place For 2,500 Years And Has Not Changed Significantly Over The Years, Over The Past 20 Years, The Old City Has Been Organically Renewed. As Guangzhou City Continues To Grow, The Demand For Takeaways In The Metropolitan Centre Is Rapidly Increasing, Yet Urban Facilities Have Not Kept Pace With This Development To Provide An Appropriate Response, Resulting In Takeaways Facing Serious Challenges In Terms Of Delivery Efficiency, Daily Needs And Even Personal Safety.

To Address This Issue,I Have Taken Inspiration From The Game Of Tetris And Designed A Series Of Modular Units In A Creative Way To Integrate Takeaway Friendly Neighbourhoods Into Blank Areas Of The City, Mimicking The Rules Of The Game Of Tetris To Improve The Efficiency And Safety Of Takeaways.

These Tetris Shaped Modular Installations Are Cleverly Integrated Into The Urban Space To Provide A Friendly Working Environment For Takeaways.

Through This Innovative Urban Design, I Aim To Break Down The Boundaries Of Traditional Takeaway Services And Improve The Efficiency Of Takeaway Workers While Increasing Their Personal Safety. This Project Not Only Makes The City Friendlier, But Also Provides A Better Working Experience For The Takeaway Workers, Further Contributing To The Sustainable Development Of The City.

The Game Is Quite Simple And Easy Like An Online Free Cell Card Game. The Player Just Needs To Arrange These Tetrominoes Into Spaces By Changing Its Physical Structure(If Required), Somewhat Like A Puzzle. The Player Needs To Fit The Block Or Tile Such That At The Formation Of 10 Units In A Horizontal Line, It Disappears.

The Player Gets Sufficient Space To Settle The Other Blocks Which Are On Its Way. Your Goal Is To Continually Stack Tetrominoes And Clear Lines As Long As You Can. To Do That, You Need To Fill An Entire Line Horizontally With Blocks, Causing Those Lines To Disappear And Giving You More Space To Stack.

04 REBIRTH OF 'JI GANG' [INDIVIDUAL WORK] Project Type:POST-INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE RENOVATION Project Location: Jinan Iron & Steel Site Heritage, Jinan,Shandong, China Date:2023.8-2023.10 Jinan Iron And Steel Works, Once One Of China's Top Steel Companies, Was Officially Shut Down And Relocated In 2017 Due To Environmental Pollution Issues And Pressure From Government Industrial Transformation Policies In Recent Years. Using The Site Of The Old Steel Factory In Downtown Jinan As A Base, We Excavated The Values And Possible Options Within The Site And Embarked On A Project That Aims To Reimagine And Reshape The Land.

The Project Aims To Demonstrate A Holistic Approach To Sustainable Planning And Design, Emphasising The Integration Of Environmental, Social And Economic Values. The Construction Of The Park Is Planned In Multiple Phases To Ensure That The Ecological Restoration Of The Park Is Synergised With The Urban Development Of The Surrounding Area To Achieve Efficient And Effective Urban Regeneration. This Project Exemplifies The Importance Of Industrial Heritage And How Innovation And Change Can Be Realised In A Modern Urban Environment.
