This comprehensive approach ensures that every student, parent, and Lasallian educator understands and embodies the Lasallian mission and heritage, creating a unified and inspired community poised to send graduates into the world as impactful, faith-driven leaders.

Justin-Siena exists because of its mission and identity as a

co-educational Lasallian Catholic high school. When we intentionally infuse the Lasallian mission in all aspects of school operation, we know that every student and adult on campus is noticed, named, and known. It is incumbent upon everyone in the Justin-Siena community to ensure consistent experiences of mission, identity, and culture. Pillars of our mission and identity - the Founder’s story and the Christian Brothers’ foundational documents, our five Lasallian core principles, and Justin-Siena’s Lasallian Educational Outcomes are known by all and guide our educational philosophy and practice.

Animate the Portrait of a Justin-Siena Graduate as it relates to our Lasallian Catholic mission and identity.

A Portrait of a Graduate describes the skills and

competencies that a community agrees its young people need to thrive. This conception extends beyond academics. Graduates understand what it means to be Lasallian and how our mission and identity transcends their time with us. To graduate difference makers into the world, the Lasallian mission and charism, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, must be infused in orientation programs, retreats, liturgies, service experiences, immersions, and classroom and co-curricular experiences. By promoting student and alumni stories that exemplify Justin-Siena’s Portrait of a Graduate, the broader community has tangible examples of how our students and graduates carry the Lasallian mission forward.

Define the Portrait of a Lasallian Leader and cultivate a culture of leadership among faculty and staff inspired by our five Lasallian core principles.

At Justin-Siena, faculty and staff are committed to

lifelong learning and seek out opportunities to grow and evolve in their own disciplines, departments, and beyond. By articulating the Portrait of a Lasallian Leader, enriching faculty and staff formation with an eye towards leadership development and the core Lasallian principles, and committing to a “grow our own” model, we develop leaders for current and future service in their departments,

school administration, and the community at large.

Doing so includes intentional authentic strategies to animate the mission for new educators to the Justin-Siena community, and differentiating the formation journey for faculty and staff based on their years of service in the Lasallian network.

Expand mission-focused parent education and engagement.

At Justin-Siena, parents are more than participants - they are partners in the Lasallian mission. The more parents understand our Lasallian identity, the more aligned and supportive they become.

To strengthen this partnership, we must intentionally prioritize opportunities for parent formation that reflect the same core values that guide our students in the classroom. When parents have a deeper understanding of our Lasallian identity and the rationale behind our practice, they become more engaged, more mission-aligned, and ultimately more empowered to reinforce these values at home.

Celebrate the five Lasallian core principles across the campus via media/ storytelling.

The five core principles of Lasallian education are actively celebrated and shared through intentional media and storytelling efforts. By focusing on student voice, viewing through their lens, we are able to showcase these principles to resonate with both current and prospective community members.

Through strategic use of digital platforms and social media, we will highlight classroom practices, service projects, retreats, and community gatherings that embody our mission in action. These moments will provide testimony on our commitment to diversity and inclusion, affirm our identity, and deepen engagement across our broader network.

We will consistently celebrate both student and adult leaders who exemplify our Lasallian values, using our communication channels to honor their contributions, and amplify their voices. .
