D E S I G N I N S P I R A T I O N S | Laundry Make-Over
The Lowly Laundry Room
In this day and age, space is at a premium, and your laundry room is probably at the bottom of the list when it comes to square footage. But by using smart space-saving techniques, you can magically organize this space to look clutter-free and downright impressive! Think about installing floor to ceiling cabinets. This will help you utilize your space efficiently. This way, you can store your cleaning products like laundry soap, fabric softener, stain removers, and more! In easy to reach, and conveniently out of the way. If you are looking to take it up a notch. Add a few cute hooks in or below the cabinets — this will create extra shelf space too. P.S. — If wall cabinets are not in the budget, wall shelves are just as attractive, and an affordable, alternative. Now for the fun stuff. Organizing! This will give you that clean, functional style that will just make your heart happy. Start with removing any unwanted bottles or products that haven't been used in a while. This frees up space and will give you a more streamlined look when organizing the rest of your items. You can use functional glass jars, decorative bins, and printable labels to help put that personal touch and give it some serious laundry room style! D E S I G N I N S P I R A T I O N S | Low Maintenance Landscaping
Landscape ideas that will survive without your love.
It goes without saying that the less garden you have to tend to, the lower maintenance there will be. But there’s a ton of brilliant options when it comes to landscaping and keeping it low maintenance. Beautiful yards with exceptional landscaping can seem exhausting, because who has time for pruning, weeding, and watering? Well, Just Home has some 5 tips to give you the balance of a beautiful yard without the upkeep. 1. Adding paved surfaces to your yard is a smart way of getting rid of some of the high-maintenance grass while keeping the area functional for entertaining. 2. It should be a no brainer to fill your garden with perennials rather than annuals so you won’t need to replant your beds each year. For an easy front yard landscape idea, opt for evergreen shrubs that don’t require your attention and look great year-round. 3. Gravel and mismatched stones are also an excellent choice for ground cover. This will add a brilliant twist for any of your landscaping ideas, and it’s an easy way to spruce up your landscape. You can create a minimalist garden vibe with gravel and raised flower bed that will give you a layered backyard look and a perfect backdrop. 4. Loose stones are another inexpensive and look great anywhere. Everyone will be envious of your fresh and minimalistic style garden. Just remember – you’ll always need more than you think to cover an area. 5. Pots are lifesaving when it comes to landscaping ideas – there’s minimal weeding, and you can control how big your plants get. You can also rearrange your pots for a new layout, making them a flexible planting option. Since many low-maintenance plants don’t produce colorful blooms, you can incorporate splashes of vibrant colors with a few dazzling pots instead.
