HEARTH & HOME As many of us are spending our off time closer to home these days, we bring our attention back to the places indoors and outdoors where we gather for quiet moments. Fireplaces give us the opportunity to slow down and take in moments that turn into memories that last a lifetime. If you are looking to start a remodeling project just before the holidays this can be achievable with thoughtful planning and masterful execution that only seasoned craftspeople can deliver. Find a local home improvement expert at JustHome.us
Here are a few tips to maintaining your fireplace. • Clean the Interior of the Fireplace. • Install Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarms. • Remove Soot and Creosote Buildup. • Check the Chimney and its Cap. • Use the Right Wood.

lf vs Hiring Professionals
ace you won’t need a Vacation from this SUMMER. With the current obsession about the Do It Yourself approach, people have often forgot that hiring a professional is ok to do too!
With the notion that “professionals” are costly and can be unaffordable, we are here to inform you that hiring professionals come with awesome perks and in the long term can save you time and money. Design teams have experience with all types of outdoor design and construction. The process typically begins with a design consultation. During this meeting, a designer will listen to your needs, ideas and budget for your space. Design, proposal review and material selections all follow the initial consultation (so you can avoid any unexpected costs). Once they define the exact plan for your project, the pathway toward project completion begins! Most times one company or firm can handle it all!! Just because you think you can Google, You tube, and Pin your way to the perfect Outdoor space, doesn’t mean you can execute it flawlessly. And we are reminded of the quote “If I do a job in 30 minutes it’s because I spent 10 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.” Experience is essential! Make sure you take time to do your research to find a company that fits your budget and needs. For more design & build inspirations visit JustHome.US or on Social Media @JustHomeUS

D E S I G N I N S P I R A T I O N S | Counter Trends There is an art to creating the perfect workspace in your kitchen; it needs certain tones and appeals, and functions to get it just right. Suppose you are deciding on the materials, finishes, and design for your kitchen. An excellent place to start is with an essential component like the countertop. Countertops can make or break a design, and it’s where all the magic happens. We have compiled few needs to know when choosing the perfect countertop. As you would expect, these trends focus heavily on color and material choices. Spoiler alert: quartz is still killing it in the kitchen, but concrete is a top contender.
The countertop has always been a significant element of kitchen décor. Through the generations, we have gone from style to style as homeowners seek the perfect look for their main cooking space. In modern times, variety is the theme of the day. Homeowners have an almost endless selection of materials, styles, sizes, and finishes to choose from.
Quartz is still king in the kitchen. Quartz is effortless to maintain. Since this material is non-porous, there is no need to spend time resealing it. This material is highly resistant to staining and is one of the most hygienic countertops out there. Add to that the fact that quartz is extremely strong, making it super durable. You can count on this low-maintenance material since, clearly, it is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Concrete on Demand Looking for a more modern and industrial feel to bring new life to your kitchen? Concrete is ondemand due to its texture, tones, and patterns. This unique approach gives you a dash of the industrial trend that is here to stay. Concrete has monochromatic tonal variations or flecks of contrasting colors, giving your concrete For more design & build inspirations visit JustHome.US or on Social Media @JustHomeUS

D E S I G N I N S P I R A T I O N S | Faucet Trends
Just Home was on the hunt for the hottest faucet trends on the internet, and here is what we found. For one, people are stepping away from the traditional faucet levers and going for the faucets of the future with motioncontrol capabilities. Hands-free, touchtap, and even voiceactivated faucets were trending. Other than functionality, there was no lack in style and class when it came to these show-stopping upgrades.
