In 1981, Cindy Clough opened the first Just For Kix Youth Dance Program in Brainerd, Minnesota —and within just 24 hours, 90 students had enrolled. What began as one community program quickly grew as our unique choreography and youth-focused approach caught on, first in neighboring towns and eventually across 13 states. Today, more than 22,000 dancers take Just For Kix classes—from Washington to Illinois, from Texas to Wisconsin.

As the organization expanded, so did its offerings. Just For Kix now includes a dance practice and performance apparel catalog, college bowl game performance tours, competitions, summer camps, and a team custom-wear catalog— creating even more ways to support and celebrate dancers everywhere.
