Hello! Did you know, that this year marks our 26th year in franchising? Back in 1990, we only had 15 Stylists and less than a handful of salons. Now, we have over 2,500 Stylists and 180 salons across Australia and New Zealand! We’re heading into 2016 focused on Empowering our Owners, Team Leaders and Stylists on ways to ensure our over 88,000 Clients each week have the best in-salon experiences ever. To do this, we’ve booked in four Team Leader training sessions across Australia and have the New Zealand Team Leader Conference coming up too. This year, we are also excited to announce our continued partnership with television superstar and loyal Just Cuts™ Client, Grant Denyer. Grant will also continue to be the face of The Great Australian Spelling Bee and Family Feud, as well as our brand ambassador. He’ll also be racing across the country in the Australian GT Championship. And he’ll be dropping into a number of our salons, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements on our Facebook page! The Marketing Team at the Academy have had a lot of fun working on the Easter promotion over the past few months (so much so that we’re feeling a little ill after all the sugar)! This Easter, all Clients will receive a delicious Cadbury egg with their Style Cuts™ cuts at all our Australian salons. If we want Just Cuts™ to be the best in business, what’s the first thing we all need to know? For so many years, we’ve been measuring our performance through mystery shopper reports, the compliments we receive from Clients via our website and Facebook pages and from salon visits. The collection of these reports has allowed us to maximise the Just Cuts™ Client experience and increase our Stylist success. But to ensure that we continue to do things better than others, it’s time to shake things up a little! We’re now moving into the next level of performance measurement and will be setting all our goals as a group, as opposed to individually. We’ll do this through our JustCoaching service and JustStats reports, as well as from the precious salon data you receive through JustOnline. We all know that you can’t improve what you can’t measure. And that’s why we’re focusing so strongly on the measuring part to make sure we’re not only the biggest, but the best hairdressing company out there! I came to Australia and immediately wanted to keep myself busy. I met the Owner of Just Cuts™ Cairns who took me on as a Stylist and also introduced me to the Just Cuts™ business system. I loved the idea of no appointments, no requests and no colouring. Then suddenly there was the opportunity to take over the Leichhardt salon and here I am today, still as in love with the brand as I was over six years ago!
Q: What has been the best part about becoming an Owner? A: It’s just an amazing system. I have the support of all the other

moved between a few Just Cuts™ salons in New South Wales since then. Most recently, I was the Team Leader at Just Cuts™ Dubbo Orana Mall. And 12 months later, I own the other salon nearby in Dubbo Square!
