EJA Patrocina Central de Videomonitoramento de Aracruz ESTALEIRO JURONG ARACRUZ COMPLETES FPSO P-68 Como forma de promover mais segurança aos moradores de Aracruz, o EJA patrocinou a Central Integrada de Videomonitoramento da cidade. O sistema conta com 68 câmeras de vídeo instaladas na Sede e Orla e que funcionam 24 horas.

Measuring 316m in length and 54m in width, P-68 will produce up to 150,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). It has a 1.6-million-barrel storage capacity and can accommodate 154 persons.

Following P-68, EJA will complete the P-71 FPSO modules fabrication and integration project for Tupi B.V.

PETROBRAS PRESIDENT VISITS P-68 On 4th Sep 2019, Petrobras President Roberto Castello Branco visited the FPSO P-68 with a team comprising Directors, Managers and Investors.

The group had been briefed on the yard capabilities and the completed status of FPSO P-68.

LAUNCH OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT WORKS On August 28th, residents, community leaders, Municipal Government representatives and other political leaders from Aracruz attended the works launching of the Sewage Treatment Plant (Portuguese acronym, ETE) in Barra do Sahy.

In compliance with the licenses conditions applied to Estaleiro Jurong Shipyard Aracruz, the ETE construction will serve the community of Barra do Sahy and surrounding areas. The plant will be placed in the Santa Marta neighborhood. The works are going to be performed by a sewage treatment reference company and will be funded

by EJA. The works will start in October.

During the ceremony, the Sustainability, Security and Port Administration Manager Lani Tardin highlighted the importance of this project for the

shipyard and surrounding communities. The Manager also stressed that the ETE represents an environmental and technological advance for the municipality of Aracruz.

JURONG AWARDED AS OUTSTANDING COMPANY Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz (EJA) was honored as Outstanding Company during the launch of the “Espírito Santo’s 200 Largest and Best Companies” yearbook of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL). The event took place during the programming of the 3rd IEL Management Forum held on August 21st in Vitória.

EJA was represented by Administration & Human Resources Senior Manager Lucila Lopes “Today nearly 4,000 people are employed at the shipyard that provides a significant impact on the state’s production chain and economy,” emphasized the Senior Manager.

TRAINING ON INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES Sembcorp Marine Group’s Institutional Policies were the theme of the EJA Managers’ Recycling Training held on August 30th.

The event was led by the Legal and Risk Managers, respectively, Raquel Pessanha and Felipe Martins. Key issues such as corporate governance, risk management and conflict of interest were lectured.

From the training, the Managers were enabled to act as multipliers of SCM Policies to their teams.

EJA AT MEC SHOW 2019 Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz (EJA) participated for the eighth consecutive time as exhibitor of Mec Show 2019, the main exhibition in Espírito Santo of the Metalworking, Energy and Automation industry. This year’s exhibition took place on August from 6th to 8th at the Carapina Pavilion, in Serra-ES. The fair aimed to broaden the relationship between industry suppliers and the range of exhibitors becoming a great stage for innovation and technology. With a broad program, Mec Show included courses from the business roundtables. During the exhibition it was promoted a road show to showcase EJA. EJA Subcontracting Manager Brunno Santuzzi gave a lecture on “The New Frontiers for the Development of Suppliers of Espírito Santo” on August 8th. The Naval Category award promoted by Sindifer (Union of the Metalworking Industries and the Electrical Materials of Espírito Santo) was delivered by Jurong to USM, an EJA’ subcontractor.
