Philipsdale is a post-industrial site. The pollurion on Philipsdale are mainly from the steel industry and oil tank leakage. Many rustgadges and fabric from the people who lived, worked, camped on the site are left there.
We hope that by remediating the ecosystem of this site, it can be brought back to life and gain the ability to grow itself. At the same time, we also hope that the process and transformation of making the site healthy can convey the concept of “HEALTH” to the people who come to the site.
The contaminants on the site are mainly Cadmium, Lead, and Chromium. They can cause damage to bone, kidney, liver, stomach, intestine, bladder, kidney, and thyrold.
