Aishaanya Rainbow Rice Krispie Treats

81 mins 12 servings Ingredients: ● Nonstick cooking spray ● 15 ounces regular-sized marshmallows ● 6 tablespoons salted butter, ● 1 1/2 teaspoons clear imitation vanilla, ● Food Coloring (Red, Blue, Green and Yellow) ● 7 1/2 cups (about 6 ounces) Rice Krispies cereal,

Prepare the pan: Lightly spray an 8 x 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper.

Melt the marshmallows: Lightly oil bowl and a silicone spatula. Place about 12 marshmallows and 1 tablespoon butter in the bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Immediately add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and stir with spatula.
3.
Add food coloring: Stir in 12 drops of red food coloring and 10 drops of blue food coloring, mixing thoroughly until uniform in color.

Add the cereal: Add 1 1/4 cups cereal and stir to fully incorporate. Scrape the mixture into the prepared pan.
5.
Spread it into the prepared pan: Lightly spray hands with cooking spray. Spread rice krispies into a thin even layer. Try to work quickly before the mixture hardens.
6.
Wash and repeat: Wash and dry the bowl and spatula. Repeat this process starting with step #2 above. You will have 5 more colored layers using the following:

12 drops blue food coloring 12 drops green food coloring 12 drops yellow food coloring 10 drops yellow and 4 drops red food coloring to make orange 12 drops red food coloring

Cool and slice: Let the rice krispies cool for a minimum of 1 hour, then lift it out of the pan using the overhanging parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board and peel off the parchment paper.

And so he did. Conveniently, outside there were 3 potential robbers. A writer, a helper and a gamer. He asked them all what they were doing at 3:00, the estimated time the bank was robbed. The writer replied, “ How would you expect me to rob the bank, I was writing a new book about mystery”. The helper replied, “I was on my break in my daughters house when she got hungry, there's a cold storage nearby so i got her some food’’. Cynthia Here’s a preview of my book! Yes, today’s storm is more potent than any of the days this year. These storms have been happening for days. But no one even cared how unusual these storms were! But someone like me who watches out of their window every single day knows something is wrong. This summer, all food is ruined by the rain, so most people don’t have food this year. But my family is wealthy, so we get a lot of food. But my parents don’t like to share. They are selfish. All they care about is money. They don’t even care about me! And because they didn’t have time to pay attention to me, they hired an exceptional servant to serve me. The servant's name is Susan, but I call her Su for short. Su’s hugs smelt like the ocean, and sounded like a calm wave amidst a raging sea. She has long,black wavy hair, and crystalline, sea blue eyes. Susan always makes sure I’m happy even if we’re doing something she doesn’t like. We spend a lot of time together. Initially, I felt mad at my parents for not taking care of me and instead letting Su serve me. But then, after we spent a lot of time together, we became pretty good friends. Su means a lot to me because she is my only friend ever since my parents wouldn’t let me go outside of their special castle. Today is June 1, 2023, and I am doing my homework in front of my desk. ‘Knock knock’ I hear a knock on the door. I replied without looking up, “Come in.” “So, Summer Lily Corn, are you done with your homework? ” Suzan asked me. Su put her hands behind her back. “No,” I replied with a sigh. “Guess what? I have a gift for you since it’s your birthday,” she said, handing me a tiny box. When I opened it, there was a bookmark made from feathers and a picture of Su and me. “Thank you! This is probably my favorite gift in my whole life!” I hugged Su as tightly as I could. “Not too tight,” Su squeaked “Oops,” I said as I let go of Su. “No, it’s fi—” She wasn't done with her sentence when the strongest wind on earth blew. But this wind was different. It felt like pulling me in. My eyes went wide when I saw a big hole right in front of me. I tried to grab the edge of my desk, but the wind was so intense I couldn’t hold on to it any trying to grab me and keep us out of the hole. But then everything went black. …. To Be Continued

Let the Sky Fall Review-Brooklyn :) Let the SkyFall book Review Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger is a good book for people who like books like: the Harry Potter series, Keeper of the Lost Cities, or any fantasy book. I would rate the series a 4/5 because it is really good, i couldn’t put the book down. But if i were to change one thing, I would say: if your characters are so smart, why would they fall for a trap that could potentially get the characters killed? The book has a lot of good details that make me glued to the book, even though I have to make time to read. This book is very interesting because of the plot.
Short Summary A 17 year old boy named Vane has been trying hard to fit in with all the other kids. But everyone knows he is adopted, his parents died in a storm. Well, that’s what he the thinks. Final Thoughts I think this an amazing book, even though we can’t find the series in our ES library. I personally think that this book is more for ages 10 and up, only because of some scenes that are kind of scary.
BLACKPINK by Brooklyn:) BLACKPINK as a band BLACKPINK is a K-pop band from Korea. There are 4 members in the band, Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa. They are all in their 20s. Each member has a solo song, and some even have more than one! Since they are a K-pop band, the majority of their songs are in Korean, but songs like Tally, The Girls, and Love to Hate Me are in English. There are more songs in English, but those are a few.
My Favourite: Jisoo! Okay, all the other members are GREAT. And my bias changes almost all the time, but right now, my bias is Jisoo. Jisoo is 28, as of now, and her birthday is January 3. She has starred in a K-drama called Snowdrop. Her best friend is Jennie, but she also loves all of her other team members. Her solo songs are FLOWER and All Eyes On Me.
Chloe Best NBA team ever ‘1986’ Chicago Bulls This was when the team’s best player: Michael Jordan, was in his prime year. They won 6 championships when he was there and we can’t forget to mention that MJ and Scottie Pippen is the SMASH duo ever. GO BULLS!

Huanzhi & Raphael Interview Ms.Caskey Q- How many years have you been in sas? A- I have been here for about 14 years. But I have lived in Singapore for about 17. Q- Who is your favorite artist? A- There are so many!! . Right now I am really excited about Juane Quick-To-See Smith. She is an Indigenous American artist who uses her culture, maps and language. All things I like! Q- If you could visit one place to teach which place would it be? A- Wow! That’s another great question. I would like to work with students who are visually impaired. They could be adult or child. Did you know that there is a famous printmaker in Singapore that was Blind? Chng Seok Tin did amazing work using her other senses. I would love to work with a group of people to find different ways to create and experience art. Q-What is your normal day at SAS ? A- I arrive by 7:30 am and review the lessons for the day. Ms. Rohana is a huge help in preparing materials and supporting students. I teach 2 classes of Grade 5, then I have meetings, edit lessons, order materials, coordinate with other teachers to come up with cool lessons, have lunch and research items for lessons. After lunch I teach grades 1 then grade 3. I have 16 classes total, which works out to about 350 students. It is a very busy day, but the time goes really fast! Then at 3:30-4:30 I go home!! Whew! Q-What games do you play? A- Well I play Connections and Wordle every day, but I also like games that look like works of art and have problem solving elements. The game Monument Valley is one that comes to mind. It’s really cool. Q-What would you do first if you are a trillionaire? A- Honestly there are so many groups that would benefit from money to help other people. I would probably ask people smarter than me what would be best. Then I would probably buy a plane to visit my family.

(probably not but read this anyway) Well, then, read New From Here by Kelly Yang! She also wrote many other great books, such as Front Desk. As COVID-19 cases begin to rise in Hong Kong, 10-year-old Asian American Knox Wei-Evans' parents decide it would be best to move him and his two siblings, Bowen & Lea, to California. Unfortunately, Knox's dad has to stay behind in Hong Kong for his job. Everyone thinks they'll be safer in California, but adjusting to life without Dad isn't easy for Knox.
