Since I was three years old, I went to Wyoming, USA I saw the super amazing, fantastic Yellowstone National Park. Our air plane was been landed two states away from Wyoming, we started our trip from Shanghai, China then to New York City, USA, then to the city two states away from Wyoming. The airplane also got our car inside it!

We drove 4-6 hours to the Yellowstone National Park, then a person (I don’t know that person’s name) took us to our cabin in the forest and we drove 10 minute to our cabin. When we arrived, it was 11:30 p.m, so then, my dad and mom went to our cabin and settled for 15 minutes and left me and lock up the car. After 5 minutes I saw a huge bear walking in the woods it was about only 20 meters away from us, then, my parents saw it, so they ran up to the car and unlock it then lock it again, and this time, they lock the door twice. After a half hour we went to our cabin and slept. The next day was awesome, we woke up at 7:00 a.m and went to explore the park at 8:00 a.m.. We walked 16 miles per day and it was 97 degrees fahrenheit, so we drank 20 bottles of water. We walked around the river and came back around 8:00 p.m..

Then at the next day we went to the hot lake it was about the same temperature as boiling water, it was the color blue because some chemicals made it.

I can’t remember that what did I do in the next few days, but I know that we went for 9 days.

We liked STEVE JENKINS and ROBIN PAGE’S books because in the books there are cool collages.

We are really happy that we got to interview Steve Jenkins and Robin Page!!! We hope we can interview Steve Jenkins and Robin Page again in the Future!!

Todd Parr visits SAS!! By Claire, Isabel and Olivia This month, author-illustrator Todd Parr was at SAS teaching students about his work. We like Todd Parr's books because they are funny and can teach kids lessons, in a fun way. I like Todd Parr’s books mostly because it makes us laugh and it can teach lessons to everyone in a really funny way through a book. I also like the notes at the end of his books, they make me smile and I know he cares about his readers!

It was a fun and once in a lifetime experience to interview him.

We all were nervous before we had to interview. Todd Parr was funny and he sometimes made us laugh. He was very good at making people laugh!!!! He was really good with kids and the teachers helping us. We had loads of fun with Todd Parr, he, he’s just so fun to be friends with, or just know of! We are lucky to have Todd Parr visit our school, even luckier to have interview with Todd Parr!

Dolphins By Isabel Dolphins are very nice animals. If you want to play with them they first have to know you or else you can get hourt.

Dolphins are mammals just like us. I am going to tell you a bit about dolphins.

First, dolphins are nice creachters of the sea, one of the nicest. 2nd, there babies are called calves. Calves drink from there mom, start swimming when they were born and start eating fish when they are 6 months old.4th a mom dolphin is called a cow. Last but not least, if you want to sea dolphins, they mostly are in the sea or they are at a theme park. You could go on a boat to see dolphins in the see and go to a theme park to see the dolphins there if they have dolphins. Now you know a lot about dolphins.

How To Do A Cartwheel

BY ISABEL Hello I’m going to teach you how to do a cartwheel. First, you need to stand in potion with your hands up and one leg forward with you toes to the ground. Then, you go down to the ground like a handstand but more sideways.

After that, you keep going and make a half circle and land on your feet safely. If you are a beginner you might fall or land sloppy. (But don’t give up practice makes perfect).

One of best modern World War II tank game on the ipad . It has really easy controls to control Your tank . It also takes long to finish your game so you never get bored. There is a huge variety of tanks put at ten levels.you can also own as many tanks as you can get but I recomend to you to sell the tank that got you to the tank you have now because then you get 70% of the money/credits you used on it. When get to level ten you completed the game but it is still fun playing.

Now I am going to talk about the specific tanks on the screen. The yag pz E100 is also a heavily armored tank destroyer. It does not have a rotating turret so this means it has to be facing its enemy to shoot its enemy. It only has good armor in the front, it is very vulnerable from the sides.

Game:Halo 4 review​

In this exciting and futuristic first-person shooting video game Bungie and Microsoft Corporation brings to you the 4th game in the Halo series, Halo 4!

First we assess Halo 4 by looking at how the gameplay storyline and fans feel how it is like. We will use surveys to mark how people feel about the game.

Sypnosis ​In the futuristic century of the 26th century the galaxy is in war between humans and an alien society named the covenant, and with the war humans develop a supersoldier program named the spartan program, now after the attack on Earth fails Master Chief comes to planet Reach with AI Cortana in search of a way to get out of there.

PLOT- ​Four years after the events of Halo 3 Master Chief and his AI Cortana awaken from staying 4 years on The UNSC Warship Forward Unto Dawn and sends a distress signal just after going into Cryonic Sleep 4 years earlier at the ending of Halo 3, as they make it to the command deck they open the windows and find a Covenant fleet attacking the ship.

Master Chief and Cortana narrowly escape death and manage to reach the missile activator and manage to deactivate the enemy ships but lose the shield in the process and gets sucked in the gravity well of the nearby forerunner planet Requiem.

Later, Masterchief wakes up on the Requiem surrounded by the wreckage of the ships, and manage to find undamaged warthogs and make way around Requiem battling ​Covenant and Prometheans and finds the librarian who gives him superhuman powers. But also deactivates the Didact’s prison by accident. And the Infinity( newest ship in the navy) catches up with Masterchief. After that, Master Chief gets sent to go help the facility at Requiem which held a forerunner weapon called the composer but gets attacked and the composer gets stolen. Later Masterchief gets an armored transport and

weapons and tries to stop the Didact the last time but fails to. With his last chance Master Chief goes to the nearby Ivanoff Research Station and tries to defend it but everyone gets composed by the composer except Master Chief because his evolution was accelerated earlier in the encounter with the librarian.

But in the end Master Chief finds hope and boards a fighter and gets sucked into the Didact’s ship while in slipspace.

As the Didact approaches Earth and starts aiming for Phoenix, Arizona, Master Chief fights his way through till he reaches the Didact’s headquarters and tries to break the shield but fails. The solution is found when Cortana inserts many copies of herself into the system and breaks the shield. But as Master Chief drops the nuclear bomb on the core of the Didact’s ship, but they are too late to stop the composer from hitting Phoenix, luckily the bomb detonates but Master Chief falls into a slipspace corridor but is saved by Cortana who sacrifices herself for Master Chief.

Gameplay Halo 4 is a shooter game that is viewed from a first person perspective.

Unlike the previous game in the trilogy Halo 4 involves a newer and more deeper gameplay than previous games in the trilogy, for example the forerunners are more deeply associated in the game than previous games. Also new weapons for the game are introduced, and a new ability called armor abilities can be activated and would trigger different abilities like being able to activate a shield or activate a jetpack to fly.

Review I would give the game a score of 9 out of 10, it is a very fun and addictive game for many, also very well programmed and organized.

Mallory has a lot of awesome stories. Mallory is a really good character in her exciting books. I hope that the author makes even more books. Because I LOVE THE MALLORY BOOKS THAT THE AUTHER’S MAKE AND ALSO DO !!!! I REALLY LOVE READING THE MALLORY BOOKS to !!!!!!!

BOOK: Holes Review By Ashley Do you like books that has a lot of emotions, sad, angry, happy and curiosity? Well if you do, I recommend you this book Holes. It is the best book I have ever read. I like this book because you never get bored. It is about a boy called Stanley Yelnats and he was assumed that he robbed a singer so he goes to the court and he gets to choose if the would go to Camp Green Lake or jail so he chooses to go to Camp Green Lake but be aware Camp Green Lake is a horrible place.

There is no lake in camp green lake there use to be 1000,000 years before. Camp green lake is in the middle of Texas where it is scorching hot. Everyone thinks that camp green lake is where the naughty boys go instead of jail but it

isn’t, camp green lake is where ‘The Warden’ pretend that camp green lake is a place for naughty boys and ‘The Warden’ makes the boys dig holes 5m wide and 5m high, and Stanley soon finds out that ‘The Warden’ is finding for something…. Read the book to find out the ending!

Game:Clash Royale Review By Kaden What Is Clash Royale?

Clash Royale is a free to play mobile game available on IOS and Android, it is also made by game company Supercell which also created the game Clash Of Clans.

Gameplay Clash Royale is a online multiplayer game that involves two players having a deck of cards that cost elixir which is the ingredient to spawn cards in the game. In the game, the players try to attack the enemy towers, there is two small towers called the arena towers which can defend themselves from attack by shooting arrows. There also is a bigger tower called the king tower which when is destroyed the player who destroyed their enemy king tower wins the game instantly. The timing the two players have to attack one another is 3 minutes, the ways to win before 3 minutes is that by the end of 3 minutes at least one tower must be destroyed, or the king tower has to be destroyed.

The gameplay also involves 4 levels of rarity for cards, common, rare, epic and legendary. The game also has leagues and trophies which after every game if you lose then you lose trophies, trophies means your strength in the game. You will enter different leagues for different amount of trophies, leagues are a type of division.

Review I would give the game a review a 8 out of 10, the game is very well planned and very addictive and the gameplay is very organized and fun, but after a month or so it will get boring/

Wholphin Swim​ By Kiana

When is this is going to end I thought. The Introduction video took 15 to 20 minutes to me it felt like an hour . When the video finally ended they dismiss us by groups. When my group was dismiss I was one of the youngest ones there. When I got into the water it was chilly and the pool smelled fishy. A dolphin trainer came I remembered she was the one who was in the dolphin show talking. Her red hair was tied back into a ponytail. She started to talk “ Hi everyone we are super lucky you are in for a treat because we will be swimming with a wholphin a cross between a dolphin and a false killer whale now introducing Kekaimalu ” Kekaimalu came in dancing . The dolphin trainer commanded us to put our hands out and she whistled and commanded the Wholphin to swim underneath our hands.

Feeling the wholphin’s blubber is like being in heaven. She whistled again and Kekaimalu swim right underneath the row of hands. After Kekaimalu was super happy she started dancing when we talked about her baby. The dolphin trainer commanded Kekaimalu to dance with each and every one of us she showed us how to dance with Kekaimalu . When it was my turn I took hold of her fins she will float with her tail in the water pointing towards the pool floor most of her body are out of the water she looked like a puppy on hind legs she will flap her fins we both smiled at the camera the dolphin trainer handed me half of a fish I fed it to Kekaimalu. After everyone got their turn she showed us how to kiss Kekaimalu when it was the boy next to me turn Kekaimalu looks in love with that boy and she kissed him twice but the boy didn’t look very happy not one bit. When it was my turn I put my hands together and out and she swam so her beak and head will be on my hands I brought it to my cheek and she kissed me. As I brought her beak to my lips I notice a pink heart on her lower lip when we kissed it was magical. My very first kiss.

When the wholphin encounter was finished I went to changed. I went to the shop I bought myself a pen and a freshly made gold coin with Kekaimalu ‘s photo on it. We bought the DVD and the photos . My aunt surprised me with a sparkly stuff toy dolphin I was so excited. I still felt like I was in heaven when we left the aquarium .

Nyan Cat’s Story!!! By Olivia One day, there was a cat called Nyan Cat. She lived in the very wet forest of Candy Forest. Candy Forest had a dry part of it, the wet part where Nyan Cat lived in, and the entrance, which is snowy. Today, Nyan Cat decided to take a stroll around the Big Mushrooms. Then, she heard a big roar and red jets of light shooting from the Small Mushrooms, which were very near Nyan Cat’s house. Nyan stumbled. She had a very evil brother named Tac Nayn, and he once tried to attack her, so she captured him in her house. Maybe it was him who escaped and caused Nyan to stumble on the Big Mushrooms!

Nyan rushed home, and was very surprised to see her evil twin brother trying to break the cage. “Ahh! Why are you out?!” Nyan asked, and she rushed to get Tac Nayn back in his cage. “Because I wanted to get out!”

Tac Nayn yelled over her shoulder as she ran out of her sister’s house.

Nyan ran to the hut of the Wise Kitties, where the most cleverest kittens of Candy Forest lived. One was her older sister, Gizmo. Gizmo, in the past, told Nyan Cat how to capture Tac Nayn, but didn’t tell her how to capture her again if she escaped. Nyan arrived at the door. “Hello! Hello?” Nyan yelled through the keyhole of the door. It seemed quite deserted. “HELLO?” Nyan yelled louder until her voice rang around the circular walls. Nobody answered, but she heard a distant rumbling. “Hello, hello,” a voice said, coming out of the bushes. “Gizmo?” Nyan asked hopefully at the bushes. “Yes,” said Gizmo, revealing herself from the bushes.

“Gizmo!” Nyan cried, as Gizmo slowly showed her grey body. “Hello. Has Tac escaped? I heard rumors, but I do not believe them, as rumors get passed around and the stories get changed…” Gizmo said, fully showing her body. “No, the rumors are true. Tac escaped of my house…” Nyan said, hoping that Gizmo would tell her how to get him back in the cage. “Oh well then. To get Tac back, you have to mix a potion. Unicorn Dust, fireflower stems, and five white spots from the Big Mushrooms, and feed it to him. He will get inside a trance that will make him follow you for thirty seconds. Then lock him in. Here’s a new cage.” Gizmo told her, handing her a metal box with three iron bars on the sides. “OK!” Nyan was in her room, mixing her potion. She put everything inside the way it should be. She mixed and then poured it into a little bottle with a cork. She fastened the cork up and went to feed Tac. She found him sleeping on the bed of Small Mushrooms. She forced opened her mouth and poured the potion in. Suddenly, he awoke. “Nam..” he spoke unconsciously. “Follow me!” Nyan whispered into his ear, as he stood up and followed her. “Nam…” he said again. She lured him into the cage and shut the metal lock tight. The trance was over now. “Nam…” Tac said again, but this time, he wasn’t in the trance. “Hey!” Tac suddenly said, trying to break out. “It’s metal now!” Tac and Nyan both said, but Nyan was happily saying it, while Tac was fiddling with the metal bars. “Promise you’ll never escape.” Nyan looked at him. “Never,” Tac agreed, looking quite bored with himself. Just then, the doors of Nyan’s house swung open…

Gizmo was standing in the doorway. “You’ve managed, Nyan,” he said, looking impressed at Tac’s miserableness. “Yay!” Nyan said. But then, Tac disapeared. “Where’d he go?” Nyan asked. “Oh, the potion worked! He also was in the cage, but then he also is gone!” Gizmo shouted, ready to take the metal box away.

“Yay!” Nyan said. Gizmo and Nyan smiled.

If you want to know where Tac went, well, Tac went to the unknown world where no-one discovered it yet, up in the unlimited world of space. It might be discovered soon, and Tac Nayn might return, but that’s probably in the next two-thousand years.

Spice up your life (excerpt)

by Dhriti I had read all night long and I finally found the right recipe to present to the judges.I messaged Jane my recipe and this is what I got as a reply, “you copied me!” I froze at my stop ,and as soon as I recovered I felt a familiar force controlling me, one that I hadn't felt for the past 3 years and one I hoped wouldn't Control me again. Anger. I flew into my car and called Jane and told her to meet me at the mall. As soon as I reached the mall I spotted Jane and I ran to her and shook her.

By now she was trembling and I suddenly realised she really was sorry that she had copied me, but nothing I did was going to make her change her mind.

Banned Homework!

By :DERRICK Most people think that kids should have more homework, but I think kids should not have any homework at all. Students should not have homework because that will prevent the students from having any fun. Also, students wouldn’t have enough time to sleep and rest if they have a lot of homework to do. Most of all, students won’t have enough family time.

My first reason is that students should not have too much homework because it can stop them from having fun. According to”Teenager’s Complaning ​Essay” we should have 30 minutes of homework time. ​When I was in third grade, I had to do homework for three hours, and I’d need to show to my dad and mom, and if they saw any mistake, I have to do it again. And sometimes if I’m not neat enough, my dad would rip my homework or tell me to redo the whole thing all over again. Because of this I didn’t have any fun with my friends. Also, I was so angry that I was very sad most of the time.

Most people think that kids should have homework, but I think we should not have homework. Having too much homework will cause students not having enough sleep and rest. According to the article “Teenager’s complaining homework essay” , 70% of the students didn’t get the recommended time of sleep. Most students sleep only 8 to 9 hours, but the recommended time is 10 to 12 hours, and this is all because of homework.

Most importantly, having too much homework will not allow students to have bonding time with their family. When I was little, because of so much homework, we don’t have a minute of bonding time, it’s basically all about homework and work.

Even worst is that we never had time to play with our friends, and that’s also all because of homework. Also, no basketball, swimming, tennis, gym time and including all the sports time, so I hate that school.
