It takes a village to build one. $1,605,483 was raised through the Indigo Hope Gift Matching Challenge!
We are overwhelmed by your incredible generosity! As a result of the community rallying together to purchase additional homes for Restoration Village and complete the Indigo Hope Center, many men and women will now have a JUMPSTART on their future.
Here’s a breakdown of the remarkable impact our donors have made through this campaign:
“ OUR GOAL IS TO MULTIPLY HOPE IN THE UPSTATE THROUGH JUMPSTART.

The construction and furnishing of two additional homes will enable us to serve 10 more individuals in our transitional program. These aren’t just Johns and Janes, they are mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Each one will now have transformational opportunities as they rebuild their lives after incarceration. This is truly a win worth celebrating!
Watching the Indigo Hope Center take shape has been exhilarating. By the end of this year, the men and women in JUMPSTART SC’s transitional program will benefit from groundbreaking programming and events tailored to foster community, encouragement, and accountability—all within the heart of Restoration Village. What once seemed distant is now within reach, as we witness God preparing this space for fellowship, job opportunities, and life-changing transformation. We can’t wait for you to come, see, and participate!
As we move forward, our confidence in God’s faithfulness remains unwavering. Together, with God’s leading, we can transform cycles of brokenness, crime, and addiction into new rhythms of individuals and their families flourishing. When lives that are off track experience restoration, we ALL win.
PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE
Thanks to your unwavering support, JUMPSTART SC residents aren’t just setting goals—they’re achieving them. Success isn’t just about ambition; it’s about the systems that make it happen. We are constantly working to collaborate, innovate, and implement best practices to benefit our participants.
Our long-time partner, Truist, has partnered with us to offer financial literacy classes and much more to our participants. One of Truist’s team members, James, led one of four financial stewardship classes last month that offered insight into the basics of banking, money management, and financial planning.
One of our goals at JUMPSTART is “100% success for those who choose to be successful.”
This partnership is invaluable as Truist has not only provided substantial financial support, but they’ve also put boots on the ground by offering life-on-life financial counsel equipping people to be successful.
FORMING ATOMIC HABITS
As part of their workforce training, participants read from Atomic Habits. We teach residents to create systems and habits for lasting, transformational change. Our goal is to equip men and women for long-term success.
SOME PEOPLE SPEND THEIR ENTIRE LIVES WAITING FOR THE TIME TO BE RIGHT TO MAKE AN IMPROVEMENT. James Clear
Think about someone who made a lasting impact on your life. Often, it’s not about being extraordinary— it’s about being the one who shows up, who steps into your life.
We’re calling on men in our community to do just that— to “climb” into life with our participants. We urgently need outside program volunteers, as about 10 men currently lack a mentor. If you care about people and are willing to have meaningful conversations, you’ll love this opportunity. We provide training and support to ensure your success. Would you prayerfully consider joining our volunteer team?
If you are unable to volunteer, your financial contribution can still make a significant impact. Your generosity sustains our programs and provides support to those in need. Will you consider making a donation today to help JUMPSTART life?

THE UNEXPECTED ROADS WHERE GOD LEADS
Witnessing the profound, lasting transformation in the lives of those who go through the program is always a joy. We recently caught up with Bobby Miller, a JUMPSTART alumni, to discuss his exciting new career milestone—earning his CDL and now driving for Martin Transportation in Atlanta, Georgia.
Bobby’s career began when he joined the outside program at JUMPSTART SC and started working at Tietex International. There, through God’s grace, he advanced from a batcher to a driving technician. Reflecting on his path, Bobby shared how God prepares us for seasons we never anticipate.
“It’s humbling,” he said. He also spoke about the importance of structure and consistency, especially seeing those ahead of him in the program walking with God and being successful.” So many people went through similar circumstances as mine and seeing them succeed…that in and of itself is enough to motivate you.”
He opened up about his initial fears about transitioning into the outside program, especially with the burden of accumulated debt. The weight of it felt overwhelming, and he feared it would always hold him back. “Finances and creating a budget—it was not easy to fight my way back out of the hole. Without JUMPSTART SC, I don’t know what I would have done.” The transitional team worked closely with him to get him back on track through financial training advice and intentional budgeting.
With the support of mentors and the Lord’s leading, Bobby was inspired to pursue his CDL—a step he never imagined taking. “I never anticipated that I would be here...my growth and the transitions I have experienced have all been because I’m connected with God and my community.” Bobby emphasized how he has seen God’s hand in every step of his journey.
“ WE PLANT SEEDS, BUT GOD PROVIDES THE INCREASE.
