Impacto AND the Hispanic Loan Fund

As part of our commitment to Cleveland’s Latino/Hispanic community, JumpStart launched Impacto, a Spanish-language small business education program. Through two cohorts, 12 entrepreneurs received assistance creating business plans and projections.

Additionally, JumpStart ramped up the Hispanic Loan Fund, which provides financing opportunities of up to $20K for those who qualify. To date, $240,000 has been provided to 12 Latino/Hispanic-led companies.

Huntington National Bank sponsored a half-day event to build trust and transparency within the Northwest Ohio entrepreneurial ecosystem. Over 100 attendees met the 12 member organizations of the Business Growth Collaborative and $6,000 was distributed to local business owners who participated in the vendor expo.

AT&T Community tech challenge

Together with AT&T, we held the Community Tech Challenge to convene civic leaders, tech innovators and concerned citizens of Toledo for a conversation around solving the digital divide. The panel discussion fostered a live brainstorming session, and two entrepreneurs were awarded $2,500 each for their ideas.
