AT T H E M O V I E S A teenage girl’s coming of age comes with a terrifying twist in this spellbinding take on the werewolf legend. Since birth, Anna (Bel Powley) has been raised in isolation by a man she knows only as Daddy (Chucky star Brad Dourif) who has done everything possible to conceal the truth about the girl’s origins from her. But when the teenage Anna is suddenly thrust into the real world under the protection of no-nonsense police officer Ellen (Liv Tyler), it soon becomes clear that the young woman is far from ordinary. Unable to adjust to a normal life, Anna finds herself drawn instead to the wild freedom of the forest while struggling to resist the growing bloodlust that has awakened inside her. This moodily atmospheric thriller combines supernatural scares with a myth-like tale of self discovery. 10 Metra Magazine, Issue # 920

Metra's calendar of EVENTS, that lets you know where all the HOT spots are!
By Auntie M4Doro@ aol.com It’s mid-April and where in the HELL is spring? Winter is acting like an ex-lover I had, every time we had a disagreement he’d live the room and then come back in and say “and another damn thing” well that’s what I think! But it will be spring again! When? Who knows? WOW, we just got rattled by a 3.6 magnitude earthquake! Enough with this weather crap. This issue we are looking forward to Cinco de Mayo, where everyone turns Mexican for a day, some clubs will have Tequila Shots, and Margaritas specials (remember tequila makes your clothes fall off), also some will have Tacos, Baby Burritos & Chips & Salsa for munchies. Then “Mothers Day” May 13th will be here, got to remember our “Moms” and do something special with your mom, (Drag Moms count too!) Also like the song says, “All Mothers qualify for Sainthood” mine does anyway. This brings us to Memorial Day; May 28th is a day of “Celebration of Honor” for those who have died in all America’s wars, from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World Wars I & II, Korea and Viet Nam, as well as those who are Veterans and those current serving members of all the branches of the U.S. Military. And then it’s the 40th IML (International Mr. Leather) Weekend in Chicago May 24-28, where thousands of Leathermen & Women from around the World converge, to attended and participate in the contest to win the coveted title of International Mr. Leather, an entire weekend of Leather events will take place throughout the city of Chicago, with clubs nights, Kink & Fetish parties, workshops, demonstrations, dinners, and the contest. HOROSCOPES FOR 2018 AQUARIUS: (January 21st - February 19th) - you tend to be very experimental about your relationships, but in the spiritual sence. Rather than seek out new relationships you tend to stick to the traditional method of ending one before starting another. Understand that about yourself. PISCES: (February 20th - March 20th) - your love life will be a bit erratic and this will mirror your love attitude and needs. If married your relationship will be tested , and gravitate to serial love affairs but you need to lighten up a bit, and don’t be so serious or stern all the time. ARIES: (March 21st - April 20th) - it’s time you start really making positive improvements for your future. You have a problem of putting things off until later, well, later is here and you need to apply yourself to this self-inprovements now. Your love relationship is in the best position it’s every been. Appreciating your partners concerns is paramount for a lasting relationship. TAURUS: (April 21st - May 21st) - for you sexual magnetism seems the most important thing for you (and for the people you’re involved with). It seems the ’be all and end all’. While there is no question of its importance, you can’t confuse that with real love, nor can one build a solid relationship only on that. More is needed. GEMINI: (May 22nd - June 21st) - the ideal relationship for you is a relationship of the mind. You do enjoy the physical and emotional aspects, of course, but if the intellectual communion is not there then you will suffer. For you love is of the intellect and of the heart combined. CANCER: (June 22nd - July 23rd) - you feel very close to your family members and especially your mother. But the deep little secret that you will never admit to: commitment or a relationship is a chore and a duty to you. Union is just a way (a means to and end) rather than an end in itself. LEO: (July 24th -August 23rd) - you generally have an active love life and are demonstrative in your affections. You love to be with other optimistic and fun-loving types like yourself, but wind up settling with someone more serious, intellectual and unconventional.Your partner tends to be more political and socially conscious than you, and more libertarian. VIRGO: (August 24th - September 23rd) - in love affairs you are not particularly passionate or spontaneous. But what you lack in passion you make up for it in dedication and loyalty. You’re looking for the ideal love, the perfect love. However your standards are very, very high and it’s doubtful that any mortal human could live up to them. Good Luck! LIBRA: (September 24th - October 23rd) - your strongest virtures are social grace, charm, tact, and diplomacy which is of the highest caliber for anyone especially you! Your deepest needs are love, romance and social harmony. And those qualities you most need for balance are a sense of self, self-reliance, and independence. SCORPIO: (October 24th - November 22nd) - you tend to settle down with someone more wellto-do than yourself, that’s because usually you have intensity for two. In a partner you seek someone pleasent, hard-working, amiable, stable and easy-going. You want someone you can lean on, someone loyal behind them as they fight the battles of life. SAGITTARIUS: (November 23rd - December 21st) - in love you are passionate, generous, open, benevolent and very active. You demonstrate your affections very openly. However you tend to be egocentric in the way you relate to your partners. You need to see others points of view. CAPRICORN: (December 22nd - Januuary 20th) - your strongest virtures are a sense of duty, organization, perseverance, patience, ability to take the long-term view. The qualities most needed for balance are warmth, spontaneity, a sense of fun. Your deepest needs are to manage, take charge and administrate.
