Building What Matters

Letter from President

At the heart of every great achievement is a team moving forward side by side. Whether we’re navigating challenges, celebrating milestones, or simply showing up for one another, it’s the power of togethernessthatfuelsoursuccess.

Thispastseasonhasbeenatestamenttowhatwecan accomplish when we unite around a shared purpose. From cross-department collaborations to spontaneous moments of support, we’ve seen firsthand how connection and commitment elevate our work. It’s not just about the goals we reach it’s about how we reach them, with integrity, compassion, andadeeprespectforeachother’scontributions.

When we stand side by side, we create more than outcomes we build trust, resilience, and a culture where everyone belongs. We listen more deeply, lead moreboldly, andservemoremeaningfully Everyvoice matters.Everyeffortcounts.

As we look ahead, let’s continue to lean into this spirit of unity. Let’s celebrate the wins, learn from the setbacks, and keep showing up not just for the work, but for each other. Because the real impact isn’t measured in numbers or accolades it’s found in the relationshipswenurtureandtheliveswetouch.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are unstoppable.Andtogether, wewillcontinuetomakea difference sidebyside.

Warmly,

Thank you, Fowler community, for the wonderful things you made happen this quarter! All eyes were on you with local news covering the YSC Ribbon Cutting and showcasing multiple volunteer events. crafting a new website (coming soon!), the MA team builds new relationships with folks who choose Fowler to live or to give. They do a wonderful job of showing the world how talented and kind all of you are, and how fun and engaged all of our residents are. It is an honor to lead MissionAdvancementatFowler!

I have monthly team meetings with the program managers and dining services director. This is a time for learning, sharing lunch and spending quality time together. We read selected leadershipbooksthatwetaketurnschoosingand share insights, strategies, and real-world applications Our goal is to strengthen our leadershipskillsandpasstheseprinciplesalongto the respective teams we lead. A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing PRN teammates Keyairria Hatton, Linda Buchanan, Jenny Smith and Kat Halas-Foriest who are sharingtheeveningweekendreceptionistroleat Jackson Living Center. Each has worked at our front desk before and now graciously takes one weekend a month, keeping warm, familiar, friendlyfacestogreetourresidents, familiesand other visitors. Their teamwork means we didn’t need to hire and train someone new. Special thanks to Keyairria and Shrhonda for collaborating each month to ensure our weekendsrunsmoothly.

Here at FCA, we are committed to fostering social engagement with an active lifestyle among our residents. Over the past few months, our focus has been on staying cool and connected with pool aerobics. Our residents showed incredible spirit and determination. Mobility challenges didn’t stop anyone from participating; even those in wheelchairs joined in from the side of the pool, moving along with the exercises and enjoying every moment This initiative, led by our dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator, was designed to promote bothphysicalhealthandsocialconnection. It’sbeen a joyful and uplifting experience for all a true reminder of the power of community, movement, andtogetherness.

I would like to express heartfelt thanks to residents and teammates who offered support, took initiative to help, and showed kind encouragement to Peak management this summer. With a key team member on leave to welcome a new blessing into her family, Fowler’s values were visibly in action at Peak. Whether setting up and executing various activities, hanging flyers on bulletin boards, distributing monthly newsletters, or forwarding relevant information about resident and visitor needs, all of you truly showed your love for our communityandmadesuchadifference!
