Because of you, we were able to expand programs for those living with dementia, develop safe spaces for vulnerable youth, and open doors to muchneeded housing. Last year, our community joined hands to create something extraordinary a mural representing connection, growth, and the spirit of belonging This 10-by-20foot artwork, painted by 1,500 artists including Fowler residents and staff, stands as a vibrant symbol of unity on the Pearl Nordan Care Center building Your donations empowered us to make this community project possible, engaging all generations in a shared vision This mural is a testament to how your generosity brings color and connection to Fowler thank you for making it possible!


7,008 hours of life enrichment brought laughter, connection, and engagement

7,200 requests for service coordination connected residents to vital resources

Thanks to 2,635 volunteer visits, lives were brightened across the Fowler campus

Resources, shelter, and mental health support reached nearly 700 children, youth, and families

Programs like GrandFriends inspire creativity and collaboration between youth and senior participants.

Through the incredible generosity of our donors, the Pearl Nordan Care Center kitchen underwent a major renovation in 2023, transforming it into a modern, efficient space that supports the heart of Fowler’s community This bright, functional kitchen now enables our team to prepare nutritious meals with ease, enhancing daily life for residents and staff alike Team members gathered for a grand re-opening, celebrating the possibilities this new kitchen brings. Natalie, an Ebby House resident, achieved a major milestone in 2023 by winning first place in her embroidery category at the Texas State Fair. Natalie’s journey with embroidery began at Fowler, where she honed her artistic skills The Ebby House provides young women like Natalie, who have faced adversity, with essential life skills, mentorship, and opportunities for personal growth Natalie’s achievement is a testament to the transformative power of Ebby House, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate her success
Volunteer Cindy Wabner and Dementia Specialist Tina Harris were honored by LeadingAge Texas for their exceptional service to Fowler Cindy’s Volunteer of the Year award celebrates her dedication to enriching lives through garden and volunteer programs Tina’s Service Excellence Award recognizes her compassionate work with dementia residents, creating dignity-filled, meaningful experiences Both embody Fowler’s mission, making a lasting impact on residents, families, and our community



In 2023, Fowler launched ongoing grief support for residents, creating a space for healing, remembrance, and community connection. Residents gathered to mark the first National Grief Awareness Day with a butterfly release, a symbol of transformation and peace Each butterfly released honored a loved one, and together, we reaffirmed that at Fowler, no one journeys through loss alone
