Embracing Timeless Elegance:

Captivating Two-Story Farmhouse

Building Type: Residential Location: Concept | Academic

Overview:

This residential project is nestled in a serene countryside, seamlessly blending timeless farmhouse elements with contemporary comforts to craft an inviting two-story farmhouse. It offers a generous living space of 252.40 square meters, set within a substantial 773.84-square-meter land area. The design incorporates classic elements such as gabled roofs, ample windows, and a front porch for both functionality and visual charm. The exterior boasts wood siding, stone finishes on tapered columns, and a 2-car carriage-style garage. The property also features a swimming pool, attic, and offers ample living space with four bedrooms.

Objective:

The client, envisions a spacious and comfortable family living space that optimizes land use while fusing traditional rural aesthetics. Their forward-thinking approach caters to multigenerational living and long-term legacy considerations.

Design Concept: The design concept meticulously embodies the enduring allure of farmhouse aesthetics, drawing inspiration from classic rural homes. Thoughtfully placed windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a seamless connection between indoor spaces and the picturesque countryside. This concept harmoniously blends the rustic charm of farmhouses with modern living, resulting in an enduring visual appeal.

Cultivating Tranquility and Comfort:

Countryside Retirement Home

Building Type: Residential Location: Municipality of Sibalom, Antique

Overview:

A residential endeavor situated in the peaceful countryside of Antique. Spanning 194.05 square meters, this two-story home provides a warm and tranquil retreat thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs and preferences of a retired gentleman and his family, embracing both comfort and the scenic natural environment. Set on a lot with an area of 335.98 sqm, it blends modern comforts with the beauty of the rural landscape.

Objective:

The client’s vision was to craft a retirement home that would cater to their specific needs and preferences while embracing the serenity of countryside living. They sought a harmonious balance between modern comfort and the picturesque surroundings, emphasizing privacy when desired and spaces for family gatherings.

Design Concept:

Inspired by the tranquil countryside setting, the design concept aimed to seamlessly integrate the residence with its natural surroundings. It drew upon the location’s beauty, featuring s-clay tile roofing, warm wooden finishes for walls and floors, front and back porches, and a small garden. The goal was to create an inviting living space that allowed the retired client and their family to relish the countryside’s tranquility while enjoying modern amenities.

Tropical Serenity:

Farm Administration Office

Building Type: Commercial Location: Nasugbu, Batangas

Overview:

Located within the lush tropical landscape of Batangas, this innovative commercial project covers an area of 99.32 square meters and serves as a hub for farm administration and management. It seamlessly integrates tropical design elements that enhance both the functionality of the workspace and its connection with the surrounding natural beauty. The expansive lot measures 12,526 square meters.

Objective:

The primary objective was to establish an efficient and visually appealing administrative center for the client’s farm operations. They sought an office space that seamlessly blended with the tropical environment, prioritizing elements such as natural ventilation, abundant natural light, and materials harmonious with the surroundings. The project also encompassed the construction of two staff houses, designed for separate accommodations of male and female employees. Notably, a roof deck was incorporated to provide a versatile

space for gatherings and events, allowing the client to host functions while immersed in the captivating tropical landscape.

Design Concept:

The design concept celebrated the natural beauty of the tropical setting while focusing on sustainability and locally-inspired architectural elements. Inspired by the lush surroundings, bamboo finish adorned the exterior walls for its aesthetic appeal, eco-friendliness, and suitability for the tropical climate. Wood parquet flooring added warmth to the interior spaces, while Filipino design elements, including rattan furniture and accents, were thoughtfully integrated. This infusion of local culture and craftsmanship seamlessly blended tropical aesthetics with sustainability and Filipino cultural elements, resulting in a farm administration office that resonates with the region’s natural and cultural essence.

Transforming Functionality and Aesthetics:

Building Administration Office Renovation

Building Type: Commercial Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Overview:

This project involves the refurbishment of the administration office situated within a prominent office skyscraper in Makati City. The administration office serves as the central hub for managing the operations of the skyscraper itself. It occupies a total floor area of 77.22 square meters. This renovation project is focused on enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the administration office to ensure efficient operations while providing an appealing and modern workspace within the bustling business district of Makati City.

Objective:

The central aim of the project for the client was to reconfigure the existing office space within the skyscraper to better suit their operational needs and provide a more organized and functional layout. To achieve this, they wanted to establish a separate and private office for the manager, ensuring a conducive environment for decision-making. Additionally, the client aimed to create a welcoming reception area to enhance the office’s professional image and serve as a point

of contact for visitors. A dedicated receiving area would efficiently handle both deliveries and visitor reception. A separate pantry would offer convenience for staff, and the inclusion of an enclosed conference room would provide a suitable space for private meetings and discussions.

Design Concept:

The design concept for the project was focused on creating a modern and inviting office space that seamlessly blended functionality with aesthetics. The inspiration behind the design choices came from a desire to strike a harmonious balance between professionalism and comfort. Distinct colors on the walls for each area or room were used to delineate zones, enhance visual interest, and create a unique identity for each space. This design concept ultimately sought to combine practical elements with aesthetic features to achieve an office environment that was both functional and visually appealing.

A Two-Story Residential Building

Building Type: Residential Location: Antipolo City, Rizal

Overview:

The project encompasses drafting a two-story residential building spanning 100 square meters in Antipolo City, situated in a private subdivision. This structure comprises three bedrooms. Notably, a 4-square-meter area at the front of the ground floor is designated for a variety store.

Objective:

The client’s objectives for the project were multifaceted. They aimed to create a versatile living space that met both residential and commercial needs. Specifically, the client sought to design a comfortable and functional home with three bedrooms, accommodating their family’s residential requirements. Additionally, a 4-square-meter area at the very front of the house on the ground floor was designated for a variety store, serving as a potential source of income and adding a commercial component to the building.

Design Concept:

The design concept is rooted in modern aesthetics, harmonizing simplicity and functionality. Inspired by contemporary design principles, it revolves around clean lines and a minimalist color palette. White walls create a sense of spaciousness and freshness, while black metal railings and gates add sophistication and definition. Tall windows maximize natural light, fostering an open ambiance and connecting the interior with the outdoors. In summary, the design concept embodies modernity, emphasizing clean lines and a balanced interplay of light and dark elements, creating an inviting and functional living space.
