Renderings of a residential project in Florianopolis, Brazil. They were done while I was working at EA+ Studio. I used SketchUp to make the 3D model and the rendering was done by using 3DS Max and Photoshop.

VACATION HOME

Site Analysis
This project is a family’s home vacation in Brazil and it was done by using Revit. It was challenging to find the perfect spot for the house in a very sloped site and avoiding to modify the land as least as possible.
The land is in the city of Domingos Martins in Espirito Santo state. It is a very touristic area in the countryside, 2h drive from the capital, Vitoria. The mountain clima is very nice, being “chilly” in the winter season and, for this reason, there are many cottages and people retiring in the area.

This particular site is inside the Pedra Azul State Park, which conserves the Atlantic forest. The land has 30.000 square meters but it is not allowed to use the forest area, remaing about 4.000 sqm. The “Blue Rock” (Pedra Azul), the local touristic point is located on the East and the main idea was that the bedrooms and gourmet balcony had incredible views to the rock.
