Revamped Festival Promotes Events in Multiple Cities and Venues

Jazz Music Enthusiasts of all persuasions are invited to join together for an ala carte jazz week orchestrated by the Basin Street Regulars Hot Jazz Club. This new regional Festival combines numerous jazz styles, venues, bands and swing dancers from all over San Luis Obispo County and beyond for one coordinated week of glorious jazz entertainment. It updates the Basin Street Regular’s 47th edition of Jazz Jubilee by the Sea. It unites this veteran club with other jazz organizations and venues across the Central Coast, with a rich and diverse jazz audience and many active dance groups. Festival Organizers want to highlight all the jazz our area has to offer!
Festival organizers welcome inquiries and participation from other venues, promoters, bands, dance groups, sponsors and media entities. Please contact Basin Street Regulars Hot Jazz Club representative at JazzJubilee@basinstreetregulars.com to get involved or to have your jazz event promoted!
Current information about all of the Festival's participating bands, locations, ticketing and events will be constantly updated at www.basinstreetregulars.com. A program and guidebook will be available online at www.basinstreetregulars.com with detailed show and ticketing information and maps to all locations by October 11th . Tickets will be available through each venue/sponsor website, with some available through My805Tix. Many events and shows will be free to attend!

A husband and wife duo, Elias & Madeline formed their musical project in Baja California in 2015 where they began to form their sound made up of two voices, a guitar and minor percussion. The band features some of the finest jazz artists on the Central Coast led by master guitarist, educator and studio musician Adam Levine. Other members include Ron McCarley on sax, Kristian Ducharme on keyboards, Dylan Johnson on bass and Darrell Voss on drums. Their repertoire includes jazz standards, Steely Dan, funk and rhythm and blues. Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church is located at 1701 Fredericks Street in SLO. Mariachi Autlence was founded by band leader Pablo Martinez. Besides traditional Mariachi music, he dabbles in other genres including bluegrass and show tunes. Their high level of musicianship and talent are not an accident. They rehearse twice a week and play most Friday nights at the Maya Restaurant in Santa Maria. It’s a pleasure to welcome Mariachi Autlence one again to our Jubilee, an expansion from Traditional Jazz and representative of this favorite genre of Santa Maria Valley and beyond.
