GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE

Intro Sequence: Julemo awakens in a quiet field from his childhood. Ten glowing orbs appear around a central tree — each containing a fragment of his grief. Entering an orb means stepping into a forgotten emotional landscape. He explores, completes inner tasks, and slowly unlocks the music within each wound.

Each song on MAGMA represents a different emotional world, with its own color palette and atmosphere. Most likely the game will have 3-4 playable worlds, and each song its own 3D world and visualizer. I am in the process of developing the next level for “Over Again” (far right)

MAGMA the immersive album recounts my own experience and story in healing the broken child in me, and uncovering the “music underneath the grief.” The ongoing journey teaches me that sometimes the first freedom we can find is protecting ourselves, devoid of flawed systems like family and politics we are accustomed to. There is strength in uncovering the creativity in the pain. I hope viewers will ride the journey with me and be inspired to go on theirs.

Julemo is a Brooklyn-based music and visual artist creating immersive worlds through music, Unreal Engine, storytelling, and performance.

What is my timeline?

Now-November→ Apply for grants and continue thorough development of prototype on Mobile November-February→ Develop and expand remaining five worlds, promote heavily on Tiktok November-March→ release singles from album (ideally one song a month) March 12th 2027: Ideal 10-song Album release date June 4th 2027: Ideal Deluxe Album release date (13 songs) Ideally I would like to release the album game fully March 12th but depending on reception and rollout, might extend release to June 4th 2027 with Deluxe

With the MAGMA prototype complete, I am interested in finding cultural collaborators and partners who can help amplify my project. I hope to find cultural connections who can help push the project come July/August.
