About Dana Davis, Your Realtor®
With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, I can’t help but to sit back and reflect on what a beautiful journey it’s been. I think we can all agree that motherhood comes with its fair share of ups and downs, but, that’s the beauty in it. Beauty in all of the sleepless nights, kissing away tears, birthday parties, graduations, weddings and memories throughout the years.

I absolutely love real estate! But, being a mother and grandmother has been the most rewarding experience I have ever had. My whole heart and soul pours into my two daughters and my eight grandbabies. They’re my whole life and my happy place. We all need that!

As a third generation Realtor, I couldn’t be more proud of my oldest daughter Amanda for following in my footsteps. She transitioned out of the healthcare field and into real estate a few years ago. She was a Nurse Practitioner. I’d like to leave you with a quote from Salma Bucker, “Life doesn’t come with a manual. It comes with a mother.” Happy Mother’s Day!
COMMUNITY CORNER: Thanking our Everyday Heroes
Nurses and teachers are essential to the heart of our community. Caring for those who are ill or injured and educating our future generations takes a special person with a passion and dedication to others. THANK YOU to all of the nurses and teachers who deserve recognition 365 days a year.
National Nurses Week: May 6-12
In 1982, President Reagan signed a proclamation for “National Recognition Day for Nurses” to be celebrated May 6. The ANA Board of Directors declared the first National Nurses Week starting on May 6 of each year and ending on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. In 1998, National Student Nurses Day was first recognized and is celebrated on the Wednesday that falls during Nurses Week.
