Calm: to decrease the emotional, behavioral, and mental intensity of a situation

Assess: to determine the most appropriate response as presented by the facts

Facilitate: to promote the most appropriate resolution based on an assessment of the facts presented model

The Source provides continuous guidance and training in trauma informed care, harm reduction, and teaching strategies to direct care staff to ensure the least restrictive alternative to change behavior� If a behavior is physically threatening 911 is to be called immediately

When members have disregarded established rules, they can be banned from the facility and schedule a reentry meeting where specific guidelines and/or services are implemented� Service plans are developed and implemented to provide care based on the least restrictive methods to bring about behavior change�
