Thisyear is actually my first Design.

This is actually my first of Interaction year of Interaction Design.

I grew up in a small town in Baix Penedés (Catalonia), where I was surrounded by an artistic environment, thanks to my mother (a sculptor), and where I discovered my passion for nature, thanks to my father (a mountain guide).

My greatest virtue is empathy. It is what helps me see things from different perspectives. In my design projects, this quality has been of great aid to me, as it has allowed me to see design from an objective perspective, as well as a client-centered viewpoint. Since my childhood, people have sought me out to console them in times of need.

This is due to the fact that I am a good listener. I can aid people in seeing their problems from a different standpoint and in making them understand the causal roots of the same.

Throughout my academic endeavors, I have become proficient at detecting the knowledge I am lacking and at consecutively investigating the issue at hand until I have a full understanding of what needs to be done and what skills I need to acquire in order to successfully carry out any project. Doing so, I always end up learning even more than I initially envisioned, giving me an ever-growing toolset for future projects.

I am inspired by everything that surrounds me; not only by things that can be appreciated by sight, but also by the people, music, sensations and emotions that I encounter every day.

ABOUT ME INSIDE

I think that the utilization of both design and art is of great importance to create something that has a long-lasting impact on people. I believe that succeeding as a designer means to awaken something inside of the viewer, to create interest and to disseminate a message that is retained in the viewer’s long-term memory, enticing her with feelings of exhilaration and excitement.

We have designed a way of playing between kids and close people of them. This design is based in a small thimbles characters.

PARMKAKS is designed to be played daily in order to help the child develop emotional self reflection. Feelings are assessed and the chosen emotions are the ones that the child places on their fingers. Through games the family member identifies how the child has felt and can attempt to start a conversation about those feelings. It’s also recommended that the family member plays with the child, choosing characters themselves and explaining their own emotions to the child in order to create a bond between the two. Apart from this planned use, the toy is designed so that children have total freedom to play with the characters however they want.

This is an Alt-J merchandising for the new 2019 tour called as their new album, “An awesome wave�. Alt-J is an experimental rock and indie electronic band, they are characterized by their performances with lights that fascinate their fans during concerts. Through this merchandising I wanted to transmit a futuristic look, I also have done homage to his light shows with a holographic effect both in the LP case and on the undershirt top. It also has a fun point to the game of separating the title on the cover, and the tattoo effect that the plastic T-shirt creates in the skin. This is all focused on the band fans, people with curiosity that loves experimental things, different materials and experiences.

Celebrating 100 years, we have to go back hundred years ago. There, we will found “botijos�, used to keep and carry water. This design is a tribute to this amazing way to store water and to artesanal work.

This is a 100 year celebration label design.

The entire label is the supermarket bottle edition, and the cutted label is the restaurant bottle edition. To celebrate the whole story behind them I have choosen one material that sums it all in one, clay. In the past we used botijos to store the water and keep it cool. This company it dates back to when this method was used. Through the photography of hands marked in clay I want to express the years of experience that this company wears; at the same time paying homage to all these aged manual works.

We designed this package for a salad packaging contest organized by Consum supermarket chain.

Series of coated carboard bowls for a picknick salad selled by the supermarket chain “Consum”. We designed this packs for a contest, where the point was to create a salad buying experience where the consumer can choose each topping, without having to get one pack with (maybe) some toppings he don’t like. Our design allows to first choose your base (lettuce, res leaf, pasta or quinoa ), later the user can pick 4 different toppings to put on the top of the pack, where they get perfectly stored to take away.

Analysing its product range we found a huge distance between the different ranges, where the consumer can’t recognize the brand because the variety of chromatic palettes, variety of design structures of the packs, and variety of materials used. In our redesign project we wanted to launch a clear message to the user: Fastness. To achieve our goals we clearly used yellow, another way to express what we wanted and easier for the consumer is to put as big as possible the cooking time it takes to be ready to eat. To generate that sense of union between different products, we have followed the same layout for the boxes, and the same for the microwave cups.

With our graphics we wanted to express the freshness of the products it contains, the fastness of the buying experience on the supermarcket, and remind to the consumer about the good times he had having picknicks with his family or firends.
