Director’s Note:
Welcome to the annual Spring Dance Concert. We often have
a theme associated with our dance concerts. The theme began this year as “World Music.” After completing our concert we realized that not all of our dances fell within the theme so we changed gears and renamed our concert “Unmasked” to celebrate our return to the stage without masks. With that being said, you will still hear music from all over the world as well as some songs that originate closer to home. A big thanks to Brianna Varcacel for filming and editing all the videos you see tonight. We hope you enjoy the show!

Cue 91 Choreography: Nathan Shaw and Dancers Music: Tractor’s Revenge Group: Sofia Andrews, Stella Sharp, Meredith Madsen, Lilyana Lopez, Lucy Herrod, katie Horne, Leah Han Duet: Grace Leonelli and Emma Schubach Soloist: Dylann Cross This dance was created as an homage to Ohad Naharin’s dance titled Minus 16. I saw it my senior year of college and it still remains one of my favorite dances of all time. The music counts up and then back down much like the 12 Days of Christmas, however this Hebrew song is traditionally sung at Passover. Usually dances in our concerts have 5-10 light cues. This one has 91….Thanks Mr. Hathaway for supporting my vision. -Nathan Shaw
