Our Society organises networking opportunities for women in STEM and social events to create a supportive community for female scientists.
We are a new club that became official on the 9th of February 2023. A community to share experience and problems faced by women while building a support group is necessary and was missing on campus. We plan to host events and help charities that are established by women and for women. We also plan to host fun events as stress busters.
We have our first event planned for 8th March, which happens to be International Women’s Day. The events will be a form of initiation where the members will get to know each other, share their interests and ideas, and voice what they want from our Society, so we can also include events to accommodate their interests.
