2021-22: Appeared in a career-high 31 games for Jax State in 2021-22…averaged 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Gamecocks off the bench…had 14 points, three rebounds and a pair of blocks against future C-USA foe FIU on Dec. 15…averaged 11 minutes as one of JSU’s first options off the bench during their ASUN championship and NCAA Tournament season… finished with 95 points, 66 rebounds, 11 assists and six blocks.

2020-21: Made one start and played in all 27 games of his second season with the Gamecocks…one of just four returners from the 2019-20 team…Registered his first start Feb. 8 at UT-Martin, scoring six points on three baskets…finished the season with 131 points, 77 rebounds, and 12 steals…in 13.7 minutes per game, he averaged 4.9 points per game while shooting 55.2 percent from the field…earned his first career double-double with season-high 14 points and 10 rebounds at Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 7, 2021.

2019-20: Made appearances in 16 games and started two his rookie season with the Gamecocks…totaled 31 points, averaging 1.9 scored per game…reeled in 29 total rebounds and pitched in 42 assists…made his collegiate debut Nov. 12, 2019 against Brescia, scoring a career-high eight points against the Bearcats… got his first start Feb. 8, 2020 at UT Martin and scored six points on three baskets.

HIGH SCHOOL

Prepped at Lakewood High School in Sumter, S.C. for head coach Brian Brown…lettered four years for the Gators from 2015-19…was a 2019 All-State selection and All-Region selection in 2018 and 2019…picked to compete in the Carolinas Classic All-Star Game…named the Hines Furniture Player of the Year by The Sumter Item…averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds in his final season at Lakewood…received the LHS Academic Award, and was named both the Gators’ offensive and defensive MVP…was a Geico Player of the Game as deemed by WatchFOX57…helped the Gators to back-to-back region championships in 2016-17 and 2017-18…also lettered in football.

Born Oct. 31, 2000 in Sumter, S.C…is the son of Tonja and Lavincent Perdue…has two brothers, Lavincent and Zymir, and two sisters, Shallante and Taraji……majoring in forensic investigation.
