Since joining Potomac Valley Alumnae, I have utilized my skills in numerous ways for the benefit of countless programs. PVAC has been a place in which members have the opportunity to develop and hone skills beyond Delta. Professionally, my career has been highly focused on training development and facilitation in corporate and government space, which includes developing skills and identifying talent - two crucial elements necessary for organizational success.
The
Nominating Committee Member position is both unique and important to identifying and screening candidates for key leadership roles within PVAC. I believe that my commitment, experience, and background will prove to be a valuable asset to this specific team.

I am seeking a committee member position on the Nominating Committee for the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter (PVAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As a new member, I believe it would be a great benefit for me to learn as much as I can about the inner mechanics of the various functions of PVAC. In light of the election approaching, so early in my time as a member, I would be honored to join the Nominating Committee.
Since
my first interest in Delta, I have always been impressed with the history of the women who have served since its founding. Leaders at the national, regional, and local levels have answered to a call of directing, empowering, and guiding its membership into the proper implementation of sorority business. Therefore, it is imperative that the nominating process is handled with great care. It is my hope that I can be a part of the team that makes this happen.
