Final Environmental Hotel Design
(Blend in my favourite façade design with the hotel design.)
Throughout all the research and development, I have reached a final decision on the hotel's design. In this design, the main part, where there are 3 flowy balconies floating in the air, are inspired by the cherry blossom's growth stages. The 3 flowy balconies are designed to blend in with the building's shape, where there are 3 high structures with different length being combined together into one shape, and it's inspired by the flower's overlapping growth stages. For this design I tried to create a few open roof gardens and balconies, so that this gives people the chance to get some fresh air (good for health) and enjoy the city of London's beautiful sky view.

By the left of the main hotel building, I have designed a geometric structure that is an outdoor shelter (acts like a pavilion) attached to the main building, where people can social, and some events can take place in the location. For example, business event, birthday party or celebration events.

King's Cross is a location in London, full of different cultures and creativities, including the "King's Cross St. Pancras Station", the British Library (has many different kinds of historical books from different cultures), Central Saint Martins, and more. In King's Cross, there are a mix of historical and modern buildings. Therefore, I have thought of designing a hotel that blend in with the location. For instance, in this design I have created a building shaped in a modern way. And this building has a green façade designed in a pattern that looks like historical buildings, as many London's historical buildings have façade full of historical patterns designed on them.
