Ideation of Tessellated Façade Design 1

Here, I have played around with some materials (black cards, colour wires and cardboard), and formed a pattern that I have used to design the façade wall. In this façade wall‘s design, I have used geometric structures to form a pattern that is inspired by the tree’s shape. This design has been created using the 3D outline of the geometric shapes, that looks like a frame, and then in the centre of these shapes are the location for the windows. Initially, the research on the “Citicape House in London” has inspired me to design a green façade. Therefore, in this design, I have left some gaps between the geometric structures, so that plants can be planted in there. This will then form a green façade wall for my environmental hotel design, which can keep the air quality fresh and clean.

I have designed a pattern that looks like pillars, which is the starting point of the façade wall design, and is considered to be only structured on the ground, and not to be repeated on the wall.
